The U.S. Employee Product Giving Program encourages its U.S. employees to support qualified U.S. educational and nonprofit organizations with HP technology. HP and the employee share the cost of the donation(s), with employees personally contributing just 25% of the equipment's list price. In FY05, employees and HP contributed $4.6M in HP products to thousands of nonprofits and schools across the U.S.! Each product gift must be a minimum of $100 of equipment at list price ($25 employee contribution). The 25% employee donation pricing applies to products identified in the designated product portfolio while they are in stock. Employee contributions to all organizations cannot exceed $5,000 per employee, per HP fiscal year. This equates to $20,000 in HP Technology at HP List Price per employee per fiscal year. Equipment donations through this program must be used for the recipient organization's administrative, educational, or capacity-building purposes and may not be transferred, raffled, sold, auctioned or re-granted in any way. To qualify, the organization's primary mission is non-sectarian, non-religious, non-denominational, non-discriminatory, non-political; and the organization is consistent with HP's non-discrimination policies and practices. HP will not make contributions, matching gift donations or product donations to organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status. Additionally
This program is completely employee-initiated and does not provide a means for charities or school to solicit employees. You may direct additional inquiries employee.giving@hp.com. |
