Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent size and price (for the likes of me) I am very pleased with this laptop. I am not a gamer, so did not need it to have those capabilities. But for general use it is fine, I like the screen which is larger than a lighter, smaller model would have, so it doesn't cause eye strain when in use! Everything has begun well - and since I had my previous HP laptop for 11 years without a hitch (though used only on interstate trips, not daily) I have great hopes that this one will see me to the grave, or near enough. I know this is not the message retailers want to hear, or those who change their equipment every 18 months or so. But I am not in that category. I am a simple, basic pensioner who values quality and longevity, in a laptop if not in a person, so it suits me fine. As it would suit you, if you relate to my personal requirements. And I can't fault the service I received from the HP representative on the phone, nor the speed of delivery etc. Thanks, HP!

However, I this also has gone a bit overboard as the keyboard letters and numbers and so on are so faint I can barely make them out . I have tried getting a pen to make them visible but it comes off.

I regret buying this and can not possibly understand why HP would make a laptop that doesn’t even function with their own docking station.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and pleasant to handle I had this machine for a short while and have not explored it fully yet. So far, it is very nice to handle and work on and it is very easy to navigate. I am not sure that the battery life is as long as specified as it seems to drain much quicker - I have not conducted a specific timing experiment, but this is my impression when I worked on it while disconnected from power supply. I am very impressed with the speakers that are loud and clear and colours on the screen. I wish I could say more. Happy to recommend this laptop to those who are looking for a new computer.

Will the chargers from the HP Omen laptop (Product ID 00325-82067-45996-AAOEM) also be compatible with this model? I work from multiple locations and leave a charger plugged in at each office to save me lugging the charger with me everywhere.
