Classic laptop PC with large screen and generous storage
It's an up-to-date classic laptop PC with a large screen, numeric keypad, and a generous 1TB storage, without any of the annoyingly unnecessary (in my opinion) fancy features like touch screen, higher-than-FHD resolution, "AI-PC", 360-degree foldability or fingerprint sensor. Exactly what I wanted for home use.

17.3” versus 11”
I did have an 11” HP laptop but found it screen size restrictive. That’s I purchased the 17.3”. Absolutely love it. Bigger screen size I don’t miss anything.

Plenty of Silver but not Gold
Battery loses 10% in first half hour unplugged. "Mouse" pad almost 1 mm depressed on LH side level on RH side. Otherwise, I like the keyboard; good screen size, seems to work fine; a couple of weird glitches that probably had nothing to do with hardware. Overall, I like it; my other lappy is an ASUS Vivobook, higher quality but smaller with lesser specs; a tradeoff I guess. I recommend it, if it's what you want and price is right.

Good basic laptop. Happy with purchase
Good basic laptop for home use. Very light. Nice big screen and very fast. Only reason i marked down to four stars is the position of the on button. It took a while to find it as it's in the top row between the print screen and delete keys. Just looks like another key. I've put a sticker next to it for my elderly Mum.

Found it very easy to get started and transfer data from my other machine. Larger screen and backlit keys and numeric pad are a bonus.
Have one grumble to HP at this point and time, the lack of USB ports for my DVD writer and wireless mouse
However, I am pleased with the overall performance

HP 17. 3 inch laptop
I am generally very pleased with my new Hp laptop sporting memory of 512GB and 16GB ram. The I 7 processor works very efficiently and I can do much more than on my previous I5 device. My only disappointment was no fingerprint or face recognition access - this would have been the icing on the cake for what is otherwise a beautiful device to use.

Just installed and set up and no problems yet! A very nice machine with good features and design at a nice price. The updates through HP assistant work well, including the BIOS updates. Haven't used the premium support package yet so can't comment on that.

Large screen with beautiful resolution. I have had previous HP laptops and I love the simple but stylish design of the laptop. My latest HP version, the keyboard keys are slightly more raised which is great as it makes it so much easier for me to type ( particularly with long fingernails!). The HP comes with stunning selection of images for screensaver and background images. I am loving my new HP with high speed capacity for the many computer tasks.

Will satisfy your needs, good size screen
Great laptop, nice large screen, fast enough processing, good 32 GB Ram, 1 TB of memory (plenty), light weight, easy to use, don't think it has a backlit keyboard, the only slightly negative thing I would say is that the outer and inner casing has a plastic feel to it not a metalic solid material like my previous older HP and other laptops such as the Lenovo but they are more expensive, a Lenovo Yoga 16" Touchscreen is about $600 ( on sale ) more than this HP model which is not a touchscreen. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Thank you HP
