Rated 5 out of 5 by IT Tech from Absolutely surprising. Runs rings around Intel. I work as IT support in a company with 350 staff mainly in AU and a number all over the world. We manage intel HP workstations, Probook laptops, Zbooks, Elitebooks, Dragonfly devices. Bought this based on small size, weight, screen resolution and absolutely blown away by it. Solid aluminium frame like the pro series laptops, nice backlit keyboard, device can run a full day with off and on use. Normal usage it runs cool, no excessive fan noises, cool to the touch. Surprised just how well the AMD goes with better performance to i7 laptops. HP had no support for W10 so tried it myself. Only needed to additionally install AMD’s adrenalin software for CPU and graphics and the Realtek Bluetooth driver to replace the windows generic one which wasn’t working correctly. Benchmarked the system after and CPU, memory, ssd, graphics 2d and 3D are all meeting performance ratings of other tests for the same components. I still can’t believe how snappy the performance of this Ryzen 5 is compared to i7 laptops and CAD workstations. Wish the Ryzen 7 was still available but this is an EOL model making way for the newer gen processors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sallly from Great little laptop Very light, it has 2 USB A (although it's collapsible so it doesn't work as well as a full sized one), has 1 usbC and 1 HDMI, this also use the normal charger port! Such as win compared to similar hp business grade laptop that uses usb C to charge, no HDMI, heavy. Honestly HP consumer grade laptops are better and last longer than the so called business series.

Comparing to other model or brand, this is by far the best with the price that I am getting it at, ~AUD950. If you can get it at that price, definitely do it.

Compact dimensions; fantastic to see a non-reflective screen still featured; trackpad surface responsiveness could be improved with a more smooth satin feel; keyboard backlighting needs better contrast against the silver-coloured keys; keyboard flex on key-press could be improved, but otherwise feels fairly sturdy for its size; camera could do with a privacy switch; most disappointingly for a modern laptop, missing IR camera for Windows Hello
