Solid Performance, Pesky TouchpadThis laptop is great overall, it's fast and smooth to work on. But, I'm not too keen on its large touchpad. While typing, I often find myself accidentally brushing against it because of its size, causing me to undo tasks repeatedly.

Spectre Durability and QualityI have upgraded from my last Spectre which I've had for around 7 years. I was wavering between this model and a Macbook Air. Always wanted to try an Apple I guess. Did months of due diligence and found both had advantages and limitations. Both are extremely powerful and excellent laptops. I was swayed by some glaring facts. There appeared to be an issue with multiple monitors and lid closures with the macbook, which was a limitation for my usage. Also the tablet screen and touch options are a bit hard to move away from on the Spectre. As well I actually was able to compare both screens against each other side by side and the HP OLED, I thought was much better.
Lastly, and the big one, the previous Spectre has lasted the last 7 years without missing a beat against some very heavy at home and mobile usage. SOLID AS. Cannot fault its durability and quality. It just got technologically old that's all.
Really happy with the purchase.

Hi Tech LaptopThe purchase process was seamless, but had problems when purchasing the care pack - it took numerous contacts with HP to get resolved. The laptop performs well. Only had it a few weeks so a bit early to comment in any detail.

Is there a limit to the number additional external monitors a Spectre and a dock can support? Operating with the In-built touchscreen + 3 external monitors wouldn't be a problem?
