I was hesitant to purchase a Windows device over a Mac but I am now a convert. This laptop has heaps of ports, it is super fast and so easy to set up and get going - I love it!

Hinges are firm but 360 action still easy to manoeuvre. 16" display is really modern, I went with this over the Envy mainly for the display ratio and the internal processor. Keyboard is a good size and optional backlighting has 3 settings. Battery lasts pretty well for normal Web browsing and using office 365 apps when on battery save mode. High performance chews a bit but I would probably only use if streaming or needing full brightness, or using apps like adobe. The Australian version doesn't come with a pen apparently, the website doesn't state what is in the box so hope this helps. It did come with a leather type of slip case which is nice. Only things I would change about the Spectre is the input types I would like a full size SD card for my camera file transfer and a second USB A. But overall I like the design, it's smart and light to carry around work and classes.

The unit a bought is a reconditioned HP Spectre x360 (touchscreen) which I use for my business mostly with a little bit of light online gaming. At home on my mains power the unit performs well. Its very fast to start up and opens or transfers files quickly. The look and feel is fantastic apart from situating the on/off button next to the delete button. the touchscreen is very responsive, hover the stylus was fairly expensive to buy as an extra. I am very mindful of the unit getting hot as the previous Z book i had only lasted a week and cooked itself, however this one seems to be ok, but I haven't given it a big gaming work out as yet. and I have also raised it off my desk to keep the main vent totally clear to suck in air and I think this is helping it. I took it with me to visit a clients this week and was only using word and excel apps. it was 100% charged before I left home and after 4-5 hours of light use (on normal power settings) was down to 40% of battery, so I am guessing I wont get much more than 6-7hours which might be an issue for people. Online gaming performance on mid level games it works well with the Nvidia graphics card. Overall not a bad unit atm, however I am mindful the battery is probably going to be an issue going forward.
