1940 — First Charitable Contribution
HP recorded its first charitable donation of $5 to a local organization that would eventually become Silicon Valley United Way.
1957 — First Objectives
HP’s first Corporate Objectives include “good citizenship—making contributions to the community [and] the environment in which we operate.”
1991 — Planet Partners
HP initiates Planet Partners for HP LaserJet print cartridge return and recycling.
2003 — Supplier Code of Conduct
HP creates its Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure that the companies it does business with meet its standards for facility management; labor, health and safety practices; environmental policies and materials restrictions; and ethics.
2008 — HP Suppliers List
Comprehensive list of HP suppliers disclosed 1st electronics vendor to publish a list of our suppliers.
2013 — Complete Carbon Footprint
HP becomes the first global IT company to publish a Complete Carbon Footprint.
2015 — Most Diverse Directors Board
HP Inc. was formed with the most diverse Board of Directors of any US technology company.
2017 — Ocean Bound Plastics
