An existing Windows password can remain, because Labdoo deletes (wipes) everything away (see "What happens to my data?"). If a BIOS password is set, then we ask you to delete it beforehand.

Labdoo strives to repair every device and get it back up and running. If it should not work anymore, the parts that can no longer be used are sent to the Swiss recycling.

As part of the quality process, Labdoo automatically deletes data (quick formatting) and subsequently plays a new open source operating system (Linux/Lubuntu) as well as hundreds of training programs.
