10 Best HP Instant Ink Eligible Printers

Buying ink cartridges can be a pain.

What is Instant Ink for HP printers?
That’s why the innovative ink shipping program from HP is a favorite among printer owners. The monthly subscription is based on printed pages and not ink consumed. That means the price for a black-and-white page is the same as the price for a colour copy.
Simply choose the number of pages you think you’ll print in a month and pay the low monthly fee. Plans range from 50 pages a month to 500 pages a month, and there’s also a 15-page plan that’s free for select printers.
If you don’t use all of your monthly allotted pages, they roll over. You’ll be able to save pages from months you don’t print as much and use them for months where you will use more, such as tax season.
Note that there is a limit of one month’s page allotment that can be rolled over at a time. If you’re on the 300-page plan, for example, you can save no more than 300 rollover pages at a time.
If you have an especially heavy printing month and use up all your pages in your plan, you’ll be able to start using up your rollover pages. Once those are gone, you’ll get notified to continue printing at a price of a dollar per set of 10 pages.
You could also use this as an opportunity to upgrade to the next largest plan. The HP Instant Ink program doesn’t use contracts, so you can change between plans at any time without penalty.
Recycling made easy
One of the top benefits of the HP Instant Ink program is that it’s better for the environment.
How many used cartridges does it currently take to motivate you to drop them off at the office supply store recycling bin? Probably too many.
Each time you receive a box of new printer ink cartridges through the subscription program, a plastic envelope comes included. This pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope is ready for your HP ink cartridges. Just seal the envelope and drop in the mail at your convenience, and the rest is done for you. It’s the easiest way to do the right thing with your used cartridges.
