Introduction to Intel’s Alder Lake Processors

Intel® has created something truly unique with its 12th Generation processors, also known as “Alder Lake” processors. They are designed to work with Windows 11 to offer a powerful and efficient computing experience.
How do they do this? By using a hybrid architecture of both Performance cores (P-cores) and Efficiency cores (E-cores) to properly balance the computer's resources. With up to 8 P-cores, these devices easily handle IoT workloads, gaming, and creating processing (like editing and rendering). The E-cores ensure background tasks don’t interfere, and they support the multitasking of the average PC user.
Responsiveness, prioritization, and even energy efficiency are boosted by the harmony of these two core types working together for the first time.
HP's adoption of Alder Lake technology
HP is a trusted partner that has been putting "Intel inside" its computers for years. The new Alder Lake processors are at the heart of many of HP’s latest and greatest devices, including those for gaming, data processing, creating, and business applications.
