Unreliable and Frustrating - The HP Envy 6420e Has a Lot to Answer ForAfter investing considerable time and money into the HP Envy 6420e, it deeply disappoints me to recount my less than satisfactory experience. While this printer may boast of state-of-the-art features and sleek design, it significantly underdelivers in terms of reliability and functionality.
The prime issue with the HP Envy 6420e is its recurrent tendency to go offline, creating a major disruption to my workflow. The expectation with modern printers is for seamless integration into our digital lives. Unfortunately, this model seems to have missed that memo entirely. Instead of the smooth, wireless printing experience that was promised, I find myself constantly on edge, dreading the all-too-familiar sight of an 'Offline' status.
The kicker is, this isn't an issue that can be simply fixed with a flick of a button or a quick call to customer service. Each episode requires a complete force restart of the printer, a process that not only consumes a significant amount of time but is also quite frustrating. On average, I've found myself dedicating more time to troubleshooting the printer than I ever have for actually printing documents.
It's also worth noting that despite having a relatively new unit, these problems persisted from day one. A product should not require such constant maintenance and supervision, especially not when it is positioned as a solution for stress-free printing. I feel this is a clear oversight in design and execution, indicative of a lack of quality assurance from HP's end.
It is evident that the HP Envy 6420e printer does not live up to the high standards and reliability that we've come to expect from HP products over the years. If you are in search of a printer that won't have you troubleshooting more often than printing, I recommend you look elsewhere.
For a device that is supposed to streamline tasks and boost productivity, the HP Envy 6420e feels like a step back. In its current state, the device is an unfortunate case of a good concept mired by poor implementation, a fact that leaves me unable to recommend it to anyone in good conscience.

Trying to be too smartgot to be the worst for going offline and not being contactable on wifi. had technician out and still not automatically connecting. No screen menu apart from weird colors and end up just using a plug in cable. HP Smart app not that smart as if you cant connect then no use.
