Through December 19th,
submit your application to TouchSmartCommunity.com to be considered for the TouchSmart Application Development contest and to showcase your application to the TouchSmart PC community. Authors of winning submissions will be notified by December 20th.
HP recently released
TouchSmart Application Developer Guidelines for third party developers, allowing anyone to create touch-friendly applications that integrate and run within the TouchSmart Software suite on the popular HP TouchSmart PCs. As part of the release, HP is supporting the TouchSmart Community with an environment for TouchSmart developers to interact. This site also allows TouchSmart developers to upload and share their creations with TouchSmart owners in a central location.

If you haven’t visited the
HP Accessibility Web site lately, we encourage you to do so. You’ll notice that we’ve organized the site so that customers looking for your products can easily find your company.
When you view the Accessibility home page, you’ll see that we’ve made the section to “Find the technology, tools and services you need” very prominent on the page. Customers can navigate through the “Selecting Assistive Technologies” page to find listings of assistive technologies sorted by
impairment type,
product type, or by
vendor name.

The HP Developer and Solution Partner Program (DSPP) strives to provide program benefits that help you grow your business. Here are a few ways that you can promote your products and solutions and connect with HP customers.
Partner products & services catalog. As a member of DSPP, you have the opportunity to add or update your company’s information in the DSPP Products and Services Catalog. This ensures HP customers can find your solutions quickly and easily, increasing your sales potential. Catalog entries include a link to your website and you may include additional information such as a product datasheet. The catalog showcases your company and solutions to HP customers, HP sales representatives, HP channel partners and other application and services partners; it is also publicly viewable. Note that HP reviews all submittals before publication.
Free membership in Connect. An HP user community,
Connect is an independent membership organization formed from the consolidation of former HP user groups, including Encompass, ITUG and HP-Interex EMEA. The Connect community represents active and engaged HP business technology professionals united in their desire to achieve organizational and personal objectives by maximizing the ROI attainable from various HP technologies. Connect educates through online resources, in-person training at conferences, webcasts, and more. Joining the Connect user community enables members to connect to others who have a shared interest in HP business technology products and services, whether it's online, locally, or at the annual events. Connect influences future HP products and services through the Community Voice Program.
