Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for buck device! Great for music production! Great laptop for music production. SSD is Gen 4 and the performance of the CPU is very similar/sometimes better to the M1 Macbook Pro, but only if the charger is plugged in with the performance mode turned on in the HP Command Center. So it's a great windows alternative for people who doesn't need to take their laptop for live performance and work with a studio setup. The laptop also performs surprisingly well on battery as compared to other windows laptops. The performance to price ratio is amazing. This is a bang for buck device. Build quality is great but hinges for the screen could have been much better, and they could have given one thunderbolt if not two. The i5 12500H won't really perform like it will on a gaming laptop but the benchmarks and performance is quite satisfactory for the price. Battery is okay, not great, gives about 4 hours on the best performance mode. The IPS display is amazing and this is overall a great laptop for creative professionals and music producers.

I like the compact design and the performance is really good with the config which I purchased. Boot up in 15 sec. Am using for coding and photo editing purpose and its really superb... Battery life is really good and its stans for minimum 5 hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HP Pavilion OLED The laptop is just fantastic. It has a pretty nice screen, and the processor is just quick enough for me to complete my tasks. The battery is the problem, not only does it run out of power in four to five hours rather than eight, but it also experiences some heat problems. Its lightweight makes it simple for me to carry everywhere, which is one of its key benefits. The remaining features are all satisfactory.

Getting around only 4 hours on moderate to low usage. If you want a 12th gen laptop with good battery life and performance, then go for i5 1240p or i7 1260p.

Since the day I bought it, it has got a problem – battery drains extremely fast even when the laptop is shut down. Battery level goes down to 10-20% from 100% overnight when its already shutdown and also laptop heats up when it’s shut down. Have wasted lot of time with HP support on phone and with 2 visits by HP technicians and they are unable to fix it and hesitating to provide a replacement. HP support page says to not write review about a faulty product and instead get a replacement but its hesitating to provide replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Battey backup worst battery backup of hardly 2 hours and that too with multiple shutdowns, it's not supporting even fast charging, took almost 3 hrs to full charge, pathetic customer service, they mentioned that industrial battery backup is 2hrs for 100% charge, I hope they can advertise their products with the same point, don't go for this model at all, worst product, worst service, I will edit the review if any positive resolution get from the HP Technical support.
