1. Does the type c port support both charging and display capabilities (eg. to a thunderbolt dock)? 2. Does this specific model come in a silver colour?

Dear moppucity, Thank you for the question. This laptop does not support Thunderbolt. However, this laptop does have a USB C port that is capable of 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge). There is a model with similar specs that comes in Silver color. What is maximum ram supported?

Going beyond 32GB may result in unstable performance from this device.
