Discover the benefits of ergonomic design

Prioritise comfort

Through ergonomic testing, we strive to provide comfortable experiences by optimising product usability, satisfaction, and your overall well-being.

Work naturally

When using a mouse or keyboard, your palm twists and lies in a flat position that can cause pain. Our ergonomic products help you achieve a more natural handshake position to minimise that pain.

Reduce muscle activity

Prevent strains and improve posture, enhancing productivity, comfort, and well-being.

Enhance productivity

Custom shortcuts, fast tracking, long battery life, and adjustability help you stay focused, feeling good, and productive for longer stretches of time.

The inspiration behind our ergonomic products

The Human Factors team knows their mission: Develop products that prioritise your comfort and to push the boundaries of user functionality.

They followed the steps below and used their expertise to create products designed for you.

  • Identify common issues such as potential strains from prolonged desk work and define what constitutes a neutral posture
  • Interview and survey for insight into users’ daily experiences with mice and keyboards
  • User test to ensure the products effectively address the identified needs

The journey to ergonomic excellence

This data was compiled and applied for the last round of lab testing, and for US Ergonomics certification. The certification process consists of two phases:

1. In-lab evaluations using cameras and sensors to measure posture and muscle activity for quantitative data.

2. At home studies where testers use the product as they normally would for an extended period of time.

Both the HP Ergonomic Mouse and Keyboard passed the certification process and requirements, confirming their design for optimal comfort.
