Terms & Conditions

ATTENTION: Please read these Terms carefully as they apply to orders submitted by you to HP either online or over the phone for products and services available in the HP store website or call centre (“HP Store”).

HP PPS Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd. (“HP”) and its affiliates host the HP Online store (“HP Store”), and any use of the HP Store is subject to the notices, terms, and conditions set forth herein. In addition, when you use any HP Store service, you will be subject to the rules, guidelines, policies, terms, and conditions applicable to such service and incorporated by reference. HP reserves the right to change the services provided through the HP Store and/or these terms and conditions at any time. HP retains the right to deny access to anyone whom we believe has violated these Terms.

Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms, products and services purchased through the HP Store are sold and distributed by VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD (“Service Provider”), of 19 Kallang Avenue, #07-153, Singapore 339410. Service Provider is an HP-authorized distributor and shall be responsible for accepting your orders, contracting with you, collecting payments, and supplying the listed products or services as per your order. By ordering online or over the phone you confirm that you agree to these Terms governing such purchases.

• Prices, delivery charges and payment will be as specified in the HP Store, as determined when ordering online or over the phone. If applicable, HP will list delivery charges as a separate line item on its invoices. Prices will include the applicable goods and services taxes as at the date that the order is accepted by HP and the sale has been processed and concluded.
• HP reserves the right to change prices published on the HP Store at any time including, in respect of an order, at any time prior to acceptance of that order by HP.
• HP reserves the right to charge additional addons/options (e.g. monitors, accessories, printers, supplies) to the customer if the initial quotation/invoices does not include in the addons/options indicated.
• HP reserves the right to correct the price at any time prior to delivery where there has been a typographical or other error in the price. HP will notify you of the corrected price. You may choose to pay the corrected price, however if you do not choose to pay the corrected price, then HP will have the right to cancel your order without further obligation to you (other than to issue an appropriate refund or credit to your account, as may be applicable, if you have already paid).
• No delivery charge for all online web orders within Singapore. For call center assisted orders, no delivery charge within Singapore unless stipulated as otherwise in the program’s level terms & conditions.
• Prices for bundled items displayed are rounded to the nearest dollar.
• For configured systems, the options and/or accessories configured will be delivered together with the configured system. Any option and/or accessories published with separate price will be delivered in a separate box.
• Prices quoted do not include installation. If you need assistance in installation, you may be able to purchase an installation and set-up service at the time of purchasing the product or you can go to an HP authorized reseller for help.

• Next Business Day Delivery
• Where indicated, and subject to these Terms, products purchased from the HP Store will be delivered by the next Business Day following the date on which an order is successfully placed and paid for (“NBD Delivery”).
• A “Business Day” means any day from Monday through Friday in Singapore, excluding gazetted local public holidays.
• NBD Delivery delivers by 9AM to 6PM (Singapore time).
• In order to qualify for NBD Delivery, orders for products must be successfully placed (i.e. submitted with a confirmation of acceptance by HP) and paid for by you on the same day by 3 pm (Singapore time).
• NBD Delivery is only available for products not exceeding 25kg in weight (including packaging).
• NBD Delivery is only available for products which are in stock at the time an order is successfully placed. However, in the event that an order comprises a mix of products, some of which are in stock and some of which are out-of-stock, NBD Delivery will not be available for such an order as all products comprised in an order will be shipped together.
• A complete and accurate delivery address must be provided at the time an order is placed. Any requests to change or amend the delivery address will render the order ineligible for NBD Delivery.
• Orders for which incomplete delivery addresses are provided at the time the orders are placed are ineligible for NBD Delivery.
• A signature is required for most deliveries. NBD Delivery obligations will be considered satisfied if a delivery attempt has been made on the next Business Day after an eligible order is successfully placed. Redeliveries following unsuccessful attempts are ineligible for NBD Delivery.

• HP reserves the right to cancel any accepted order prior to delivery at HP's discretion in the event of any pricing error or any material error in connection with your order or other conditions published in the HP Store relevant for your order, or if any further verification of your credit conditions or records so warrants. For the avoidance of doubt, HP will not be responsible for any pricing error or any material error as described above. If you have already made payment and your order is cancelled, HP will issue an appropriate refund or credit to your account, as may be applicable.
• Once you have submitted your order, it is final and binding upon you. Without prejudice to the above, in the event that you request a cancellation of your order or return of your product prior to delivery, HP will consider your request but will have the absolute discretion to decide whether to allow the same. HP’s decision will be final and no appeals will be entertained. In the event that HP decides to allow your cancellation of the order or return of your product, HP has the right to charge you a cancellation fee of five percent (5%) of the value of the order.

• Payment for products is due prior to delivery of the product. Payment for services is due prior to return of the serviced goods to you. Payment for services is due upon receipt of invoice. In any event you must make your payment in a form and at a time acceptable to HP. Where you make your purchase relying on credit provided by a third party, any acceptance by HP is subject to that third party providing credit to you. HP is not bound to complete the order and has no liability to you in the event that that third party fails to provide sufficient credit for the purchase.
• HP may change credit or payment terms at any time if, in HP's opinion, your financial condition, previous payment record or the nature of your relationship with HP so warrants.

• Title to hardware products passes to you upon the later of full payment and delivery of the products. Risk of loss and damage pass to you upon delivery.

• Promotional offers and prices are for a limited time only, subject to the promotion terms & conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms and conditions stated herein may be varied, altered or superseded (as the case may) in the event of any promotion or special deals, at HP’s absolute discretion.
• Availability of the products is limited, and products may not be available for immediate delivery. HP reserves the right, without liability or prior notice, to revise or cease to make available any or all products. If there is any revision or cessation, HP will contact you and will discuss what (if any) alternative products are available. You will have the option to cancel or amend your order. If you have already made payment and your order is cancelled, HP will issue an appropriate refund or credit to your account, as may be applicable. If your order is amended and the purchase price changes, you will pay any additional amount due to HP in accordance with the payment terms herein stated or HP will issue an appropriate refund or credit to your account, as the case may require.

• Products and services acquired by you under these Terms are solely for your personal use and not for immediate resale or sub-licensing.

• You should make periodic backup copies of the data, files and programs stored on your products, including hard drives and storage devices, as a precaution against possible failures, alteration, or loss of the data.
• Before returning any product for service, be sure to back up data and remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information. Data may be lost during service.
• You should maintain a separate backup system or procedure that is not dependent on the products so you can reconstruct lost or altered files, data, and programs.

• All HP branded products are covered by the applicable HP limited warranty, according to the terms and limitations specified in the warranty statement bundled with such products. You may have other statutory rights.
• Products may have been manufactured using some refurbished components or may have been used internally for reliability or performance testing.
• Replacement products or parts may be new or reconditioned or refurbished or comparable versions of the defective item.
• HP does not warrant that the operation of products will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Except to the extent prohibited by law, HP is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions intended for the product.
• Should the product fail to function in the manner set out in the limited warranty statement referred to in Hewlett- Packard's Terms and Conditions, the product may be returned within 14 days of delivery or such other period as may be stated in the limited warranty statement. For the avoidance of doubt, product returns are strictly in respect of HP or Compaq branded products only.

• If you purchase an HP Care Pack, HP will send you the applicable HP Care Pack service description, support access details and relevant web address. HP will provide those maintenance and support services you ordered in accordance with the applicable service description and subject to HP's standard Care Pack terms and conditions. • HP software products are subject to HP’s standard license terms posted in the HP Store. Non-HP software products and, exceptionally, some HP software products may be subject to different license terms, as provided with such products.

• These terms and conditions set out the full extent of HP’s obligations and liabilities in respect of the supply of the HP branded products and there are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on HP except as expressly stated in the Terms. Any warranty, condition or other term concerning the HP branded products which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the Terms by statute, common law or otherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality or fitness for purpose) is hereby expressly excluded.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, HP will not be liable for loss of data as it expects you to make appropriate arrangements to back up your data.
• HP does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury (including to the extent caused by its negligence) or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
• HP will not be liable under the Terms for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise.
• HP’s maximum aggregate liability under the Terms whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the HP branded products in question.

• This Personal Data Protection Policy notice for personal data (“Notice”) is issued to all our valued customers Hewlett Packard Singapore Pte Ltd (“HP”, “us”, “we”, “our” or “ours”), pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).
• We at HP take our responsibilities under Singapore’s PDPA seriously. We also recognize the importance of the personal data you have entrusted to us and believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and process your personal data. During your course of dealing with us, we may have, and / or will collect, use, disclose and process your personal data for purposes, including, to communicate with you, provide products and/or services to you, respond to your enquiries or complaints, provide you with information and/or updates on products, services and/or promotions offered by HP and selected third parties and other purposes required to operate and maintain our business as set out in our Personal Data Protection Policy (collectively referred to as “Purposes”).
• In order to conduct our business operations more smoothly, we may also be disclosing the personal data you have provided to us to our third party service providers, agents and/or our affiliates or related corporations, and/or other third parties whether sited in Singapore or outside of Singapore, for one or more of the above-stated Purposes. Such third party service providers, agents and/or affiliates or related corporations and/or other third parties would be processing your personal data either on our behalf or otherwise, for one or more of the above-stated Purposes. We will also be transferring your personal data outside of Singapore to our central customer data storage and processing servers located overseas and share your personal data with our related corporations for such Purposes.
• It is necessary for us to collect and to retain your personal data. If you do not provide us with your personal data, or do not consent with this Notice or our Personal Data Protection Policy, we will not be able to effectively provide products and/or services to you or respond to your enquiries/feedback. if at all.
• We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is stored securely. You have the right to request for access to, to request for a copy of and to request to update or correct your personal data held by us. You have the right at any time to request us to limit the processing and use of your personal data. (for example, requesting us to stop sending you any marketing and promotional materials or contacting you for marketing purposes). Please email to sg.contact@hp.com by contacting us on your intention to remove/limit your personal data.
• As part of our efforts to ensure that we properly manage, protect and process your personal data, we will be reviewing our policies, procedures and processes from time to time.
• We reserve the right to amend the terms of this Personal Data Protection Policy at our absolute discretion. Any amended Personal Data Protection Policy will be posted on the Website and can be viewed at www.hpshopping.com.sg. No individual notice will be sent to you.
• You are deemed to have acknowledged and agreed to any amended version of this Personal Data Protection Policy if you continue to use the Website after the changes have taken place. As such, you are encouraged to visit the above website from time to time to ensure that you are well informed of our latest policies in relation to personal data protection.

• Products obtained under these Terms may be subject to Singapore and other government export control laws and regulations. You must comply with those regulations whenever it exports or re-exports controlled products or technical data obtained from HP or any product produced directly from the controlled technical data.

• You may have additional rights under your local statutory or consumer laws, which provide you with other remedies. To the extent that these Terms, HP's limited warranty, standard license or Support Pack terms are inconsistent with the statutory laws of Singapore, they are deemed modified to be consistent with such local law.
• Products are manufactured for standard commercial uses and are not intended to be sold or licensed for use in critical safety systems, in hospitals in situations where uninterrupted performance is desirable or in nuclear facilities.
• HP is not responsible for delay or failure to perform under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control.
• Each party will treat and hold confidential information provided by the other party which is marked as confidential or proprietary.
• HP may subcontract the performance of services to qualified service suppliers.
• All documents referred to in these Terms are incorporated into these Terms and are available from HP upon request.
• Any customer site access requirements will not be enforceable to either increase the obligations or liabilities or reduce the rights under these Terms of HP, its officers, employees, or subcontractors.
• Any term or condition of your order which is any way inconsistent with or in addition to these Terms will not be applicable or binding on HP unless otherwise agreed in a written agreement signed by you and HP and HP's failure to object will not be considered a waiver of these Terms.

• Any contract or dispute arising in connection with these Terms will be governed by the laws in force in Singapore.

Purchase

• HP Store eGift Cards can be purchased online through HP Store Singapore website (www.hp.com/sg-en/shop).
• The value of the eGift Card purchased through HP Store Singapore website (www.hp.com/sg-en/shop) can only be redeemed in HP Store Singapore website and is not applicable to any other HP Stores worldwide.
• Purchasing an eGift Card will generate a unique code that will only be received by the designated recipient upon purchase. Recipient will receive the eGift Card code via email within one business day.
• The eGift card balance cannot be exchanged for cash or purchase of another eGift card.
• eGift cards are not reloadable and not for resale.
• Any eGift Cards purchased will be considered as final and non-refundable except where required by law.

Redemption

• The HP Store eGift Card has no expiration. It is recommended to redeem as soon as it has been purchased.
• HP Store e-Gift Card may be used to partially pay your online purchases of any product except gift card products.
• There is no limit on the number of gift cards that may be used in a single transaction.
• The HP Store eGift Card is limited to and shall apply a minimum or maximum purchase requirement
• The HP eGift cards cannot be used to purchase products that are out of stock. It is also non-transferable to another HP order.

Lost / Stolen

• The recipient of the eGift Card code is solely responsible in safe keeping and security of the unique code that will be sent.
• In case the code is lost or stolen, HP Store will not be held responsible for any unauthorized use of the eGift Card code. HP Store will not replace or reinstate the value / remaining balance of the eGift Card code claimed unauthorized.

Refund

• Any product purchased using an eGift card that are approved to be returned for a refund will be credited to the original eGift card code used.
• If a partial refund is made for any purchase using an eGift Card and another payment method, refund will be credited back to the eGift Card code first.
• If the total refund is more than the original eGift Card used, the remaining refund will be refunded to the other payment method used during product purchase.

General Terms and Conditions

• eGift Cards and their use are subject to all HP.com terms and conditions
• eGift Card purchase or use constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions
• HP Store reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion
