How the HP All-In Plan Works

How does the HP All-In Plan ensure I won’t run out of ink?

The printer detects when it’s low on ink and automatically sends more right to your door, before you ever run out. With the HP All-In Plan, you won’t have to make any last-minute trips to the store or remember to buy ink cartridges.

What if my printing needs change from month to month? Can I change my plan?

You can easily adjust your monthly plan by choosing how much you would like to print from your My Account page. The new plan takes effect at the next billing cycle, and you can change your plan as often as you like. For more details, see the HP All-In Plan Terms of Service.

Will I get ink every month?

No, you will not receive ink cartridges in the mail every month. Your printer detects when the ink levels are low, and more ink cartridges are sent to your door before you ever run out.

What if my printing exceeds my monthly allowance?

If you exceed the number of pages in your plan in any given month and you haven’t accumulated enough rollover pages, you can continue printing without interruption and additional sets of 10-15 pages will be automatically added to your monthly invoice at $1 per set.

As long as the printer is connected to the internet, you’ll get an email from us reminding you when you are close to printing all the pages in your plan. You can also easily change your print plan by logging into your HP All-In Plan account and choosing the print plan that’s right for you.

What if I print under my monthly allowance?

You get to keep and roll over unused pages at the end of each month. Your unused pages will appear in your account as rollover pages. You can continue to roll over up to three times the number of pages in your monthly plan (for example, you can roll over up to 300 pages if you are enrolled in a 100-page plan). Any rollover pages in your account would offset pages printed that exceed your monthly allowance in subsequent months.

How can I see my ink usage and billing?

Simply log in to your personal My Account page. Here you’ll be able to see how many pages you've printed during the month and any rollover pages available for you to use, plus your next billing date.

Is the cost the same for photos, color and black and white pages?

Yes. One of the features customers love the most about the HP All-In Plan is that no matter what you print, whether it’s full color photos, color documents, or black and white text, each page counts the same. With the HP All-In Plan, you can add a splash of color to your prints at no extra cost.

How do I recycle ink cartridges?

As part of your HP All-In Plan, HP will provide you with a prepaid return envelope for any used HP Instant Ink cartridges, and we’ll take care of the rest.  All returned cartridges will be recycled by HP Planet Partners.

How do the printer upgrades work?

When you are finished with your All-In Plan or would like to upgrade to a new printer, simply send us back the used printer with the HP provided prepaid shipping label. You have the option to upgrade to a new printer any time after two years without a cancellation fee. If you don’t want to upgrade, you can always continue with your current printer—it's your choice.
