Each job is accepted into PrintOS Automation Power Pack8 when it‘s already pre-defined in terms of its workflow, and then it’s allocated automatically to the production flow. You can easily track it throughout the entire production process.
As jobs and orders arrive into PrintOS Automation Power Pack8, the solution will manage the workflow end-to-end. Alternatively, via the integration, the MIS can retain the control, and send the jobs to the HP Indigo Press.

We also suggest the “Direct to Finish” option when the HP Indigo DFE connects directly with smart finishers. The DFE passes the imposition layout directly to the finisher device, so that the finishing station can set up automatically for the job by the time it’s finished printing.
This prevents lengthy and error-prone setup times and allows you to operate the finishing devices with a more novice workforce.
