Transforming and Optimizing Supply Chains

A year ago, I shared my thoughts on the imperative to build agility and resilience in our business while staying committed to sustainability. Since then, we have experienced the benefits of getting geographically closer to our customers, staying ahead of the growing requests from customers worldwide to provide multi-site, multi-region and multi-source production.
 
At HP, we remain laser focused on meeting our customers’ needs with flexibility and reliability, and it makes sense to remain nimble. Our work over the past year has allowed us to do just that. The additions of production sites in Thailand and Mexico, in conjunction with expanded production in India, has allowed us to provide a better customer experience and significantly reduce the risk of future natural or geopolitical challenges.
 
As we continue to refine our global footprint, fostering a culture of continuous improvement is vital. Our supply chain teams are equipped with the tools and resources to drive innovation from within. We support them in testing new approaches and sharing best practices across our global network. This culture of collaboration key to adapting to evolving market conditions and adjusting our supply chain to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs.
 
For example, our teams in China are, and will continue to be, one of our most important manufacturing, engineering and innovation hubs. The advanced infrastructure and manufacturing talent pipeline allows it to serve as our standard of production that our global network strives towards.
 
The future of supply chains is one of interconnected ecosystems, driven by collaboration, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of improvement.
