HP Global Privacy Statement

  • We further clarified the scope of the privacy statement to explain that the Global Privacy Statement covers the processing of personal data where HP operates or processes such information.
  • We clarified that our privacy policies apply to the entire operations, including “suppliers” in the accountability principle.
  • We added new information about HP’s UK BCRs for Controllers and HP’s UK BCRs for Processors for the international transfer of UK personal data.
  • We refined the Binding Corporate Rules section to further explain where EEA/UK/Swiss individuals can exercise rights related to our BCRs with us.
  • We further explained the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority and where the individual can find the competent supervisory authority.
  • We modified HP Poland’s and Türkiye’s addresses.

October 2024

HP US Privacy Statement

  • We made updates throughout the US Privacy Statement to include Montana, whose privacy law entered into force on October 1, 2024.

HP China Privacy Statement

  • We made updates throughout the China Privacy Statement to align the text with the HP Global Privacy Statement.
  • We refined the International Data Transfers section to further explain how we transfer personal data outside of outside of Mainland China in accordance with our China's Standard Contract for Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information (SCC).
  • We updated the List of Receiving Parties link in accordance with our China's Standard Contract for Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information (SCC).
  • We refined the Exercising Your Rights & Contacting Us section to further explain your rights under PIPL, and how you can exercise rights related to your data with us.
