Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Monitor screen cracked as soon as installed. I'm sorry to say but the monitor from HP is a piece of junk. I installed the monitor as per instructions. In placing the monitor on the desk top it bumped something and just broke the screen all to pieces. I had to replace it with one of my old Dell monitors that is still working well even after four or or so. I know that HP won't replace the monitor so I'm not even going to bother. I will try for a monitor replacement from HP but confidence is not high. I will let you knnow.

It works perfectly with another Thunderbolt device and all the peripherals (e.g., mouse, keyboard, etc.) The HDMI connection works great because the prior brand docking was not rendering the accurate color saturation. Overall, we are super happy with the purchase.

I can pull in my beloved MS Natural keyboard, my ancient Deskjet 932c printer, my external hard drive and my external monitor, and everything works well together to give me a real personal computer experience. As my needs change I can add other external devices like a DVD drive.

I just wish it had and on/off switch so I didn't have to unplug the USB C cable from my laptop every day after work. It's just unnecessary wear and tear on my laptops USB C port.

This device is compatible with these operating systems Windows 10; Windows 11; macOS; Chrome OS™, would also need a USB-C port that supports power delivery up to 100w and DisplayPort. For the Dell, you would want to contact their support or customer service team to see if it meets those requirements.

Is this dock compatible with the HP 15-dy4013dx?

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Laptop 15-dy4013dx has 1 USB Type-C port 5 Gbps signaling rate that supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors. That means this HP USB-C Dock G5 is not compatible with the HP Laptop 15-dy4013dx. You can use an universal USB docking station. Be sure there are the same video ports that are on the monitors, i.e. HDMI.
