hp 12C & hp 15C
Excellent product. I have now almost all versions of these models. I wish if hp 15C & 12C both had dual numeric functions i.e. RPN as well as Algebraic like it is in hp 35s.

HP-12C Key Action
I ordered a new HP-12C because my old one kept entering multiple numbers when I pushed a key. The new one has done that a couple of times already. But I hope with the new one it doesn't happen as often.

Love the calculator but was told when I ordered it came with a manual. I asked and was specific. No manual and very difficult to open and start from scratch. ☹️

Ill Fitting Plastic Sleeve Questions Quality
The plastic sleeve is cheaply made, too narrow, doesn't fit the calculator. This makes me worry how well the electronics inside are manufactured

There is no difference. Different retailers will sometimes carry HP Products with different product numbers or names. The HP 12C English Calculator here on the HP site is the latest version of the 12C.

I have an older 12C model that requires 3 button batteries. what is the proper battery to purchase?
Depending on the model of the HP 12C calculator, it can use CR2032 batteries or LR44 for older models. From your description, it sounds like your 12C uses the LR44 model battery.

Clear the TVM registers to zero
Set the relevant TVM values
Calculate the PMT
Set n to zero and amortize the desired number of payments
How to view the amortization information
Press the Input key
Press 12
Press Downward Shift
Press Mort
Use the equals key to toggle through the amount applied to the principal, interest, and balance remaining
The HP 12c is a sequenced calculator, so once a number of payments are amortized, the subsequent balances refer to the next amortized payments. To review a previous balance, some values must be restored to their default values.

I need a users manual for your 12C calculator because I pressed something by mistake and lost the operation I had been using to add exact dollars and cents. Now it only rounds off the number I enter to dollars. I need to add the cents also.
