    Rated 4 out of 5 by BillR1975 from Powerful mini computer With the phasing out of Windows 10 in 2025 and my old computer’s hardware not compatible with Windows 11, I decided to buy a new computer. I was initially looking for a PC with a tower and then came across this model. I was looking at business machines since I work from home and wanted better hardware than can run specific programs. This model was expensive, but found it on sale on Black Friday. This is my first ever mini PC, but it is powerful. I bought it with 16GB of memory and an i7 processor. The hard drive could have been bigger (less than 350GB of usable space) with Windows 11, but it is SSD so is fast. I have been dealing with a blinking white light near the power button that does not affect performance, but is annoying. I have contacted HP support, but it seems like this is normal operation. Overall, I would recommend this computer, but you should spend more for better hardware so you don’t have to upgrade any of the parts. An upgrade is easy to do if necessary as I did open it up to check on adding a second memory module.

HP support refused to send me the correct part, which is easily replaced. They also refused to allow me to return the PC for a correctly configured one. The amount of time I spent trying to address this issue was excessive. The result was unsatisfactory.

I needed something lightweight that I could easily travel with. This workstation met all of my company's device requirements as well as my own personal specifications. I am so glad I chose this. I use it for long 11 to 12 hour shifts with two 24 inch monitors and a webcam, and it has never overheated. It barely makes any sound when it operates. It has all the ports I need to connect my accessories including a wired keyboard and mouse.

    can i upgrade the graphics card

    Thank you for your question! The HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC has the following expansion slots: 1 M.2 2230 slot for WLAN and 2 M.2 2280 slots for storage. There is no mention of an expansion slot for a GPU.

    Do all the G9 configurations use 90w power supply?
