I am in a wheelchair so it is hard to get close enough to see the monitor without having it at the edge of the desk. This one is fantastic. So happy to have it. It is affordable also. I only use HP

They were wanting me to return the monitor and replace it. i was told the other option was to purchase the part. The other major disappointment was the refusal to answer a question about the brand new monitor not working properly. HP wanted to force me to purchase a support contract. The contract was almost as much as the monitor.

    How do I connect sound to the 31.5 HP monitor

    Thank you for your question! The HP Series 5 31.5 inch FHD Monitor does not have direct audio capabilities. Sound will be provided by your PC. If this monitor is used with a gaming console, a compatible headset to the gaming console would be required for sound.
