Steer Clear
I would not buy the warranty again because I had a minor issue which was totally my fault, and when I called HP, I was told that I would have to pay for simple instructions. The sales representative at HP had led me to believe that all problems were covered by the HP warranty. I called the Geek Squad at Best Buy who told me in less than 5 minutes how to solve my problem.

Scanner connectivity issue
My husband and I each own one of these printers. Both of us had an issue with scanning and sending the scan to our computers. Printer keeps saying it isn't connected. We thought it might be an internet issue, so we connected our computers to the printers with a cord and the scan still doesn't work. Printing does. The only way we can scan is to a flash drive in the printer. We have tried reinstalling the printer drivers which did not help. Other than that, the printers are fine.

No confirmation of warranty so far
No idea how/or even if it will work. It has been two weeks and I have still not received any indication that I got anything for the money I paid. When I paid for it, there was an email that said I would receive registration info, but to date, nothing. Is it even real????

Confused on Customer Service
I have been enjoying my HP quite a lot. I thought it was a good idea to extend the warranty, but nothing has been sent to me. When I got to the website nothing is indicated of my purchase. The website just says my warranty is expired. I have called and talk to customer service, and they say that explanation of what I purchased is being mailed. Nothing has arrived.

Wonderful care product
I'm glad hp recommended this care package to me when I got my 2 in 1 hp 360 Pavillion pc / tablet it's wonderful to have that extra product protection just incase something happens or something gets spilled or it gets dropped by accident I'm covered! Thank you hp!

HP Somewhat Good, Somewhat Not So Good
It's a great computer. clear display, fast response, functions well. I have a problem that it is not working on the C: drive. It is using the "One Drive" personal back-up for all of it's normal functions. The the files that were backed up on the one drive down loaded to the new computer automatically when I hooked up to wi-fi. The programs that I have downloaded went to the one drive. When I do anything whatever I do is done on the one drive and not on the C: hard drive on the computer itself. I have done a reset, which didn't help anything. I can't figure it out. I bought two of these and both are doing the same thing. No idea what to do now.

Still waiting for my Care Pack
Ordering this Care Pack was the most frustrating part of the process. I saw the 3-yr extended warranty on the website for about $67 when I ordered the laptop. When I proceeded to check-out, the price was quite a bit more. I tried to call and use the chat, and neither were available!! This was on Cyber Monday!! So I waited until the laptop arrived and tried again. This time, successfully, but then it said I'd get the Care Pack AFTER I get a laptop...which I HAD! It's nearly a month, and I paid for the Care Pack, but haven't heard anything more.

the keyboard has an extremly light touch when one tap can give you from 2 to 32 copies of the same letter.Which mans that I have to do manual spell checks.
Can you see how that is so frustrrating?

Should be excellent, but can't see registration
I haven't got the foggiest idea if this care pack is actually the correct one for my notebook. It is what was presented to me in the HP Support Assistant app, but the Support Assistant app still doesn't show that it's valid or has been registered, and the particular Care Pack code I purchased doesn't show as applying to the HP Victus notebook as far as the sales organization can see.
If (and only if) it is valid and registerable to my hardware, and will be honored, it is a much better deal than trying to go through the HP Store, and the peace of mind that it will provide is incredible.
But since I can't find information on it, and it hasn't been registered yet, the uncertainty, lack of peace of mind, and induced anxiety is making me drop the 5 star rating to a 2 star rating. Come on, HP, get it together. You have some of the largest databases in the world, one of the largest OEM software development organizations in the world, and you can't figure out how to automatically register things in a clean, quickly-visible manner?

Never Received Original 3 Year Extended Warranty With Purchase
I was supposed to have received a 3 year extended warranty when I originally purchased this notebook. When I reached out about it, I was advised to wait a couple months. I never received the extended warranty. I re-purchased it because it was on sale and hoping to clear it up.

Need a warranty to ensure you get a warranty extension.
I've waited over two weeks, and have never received notice of my carepak warranty extension purchase. It has failed to show on any support or warranty webpage. I'm in the process of cancelling an additional warranty to due to poor support and warranty processes I've encountered.

I can't believe this 3 year plan was cheaper than the 1 year plan. I don't know if I got the same coverage or not. A foreign speaking person talked me into getting this and assured me it was the same, but I have no evidence to support that claim.

As others have stated you are directed to the page to buy extended support. You buy it, you get confirmation, you then get told in some 6 weeks or so they will associate to the product you just bought it for. So your warranty says it not applied and then you get constant reminders to buy another extended warranty. Shame on HP for creating such a poor design and sad they are trying to make customer monitor them to ensure their warranty gets applied to their laptop that they recommended. Very sad this the best they can do. Wonder what happens to those poor souls who forget to harass HP to apply the warranty in 6 to never weeks. Ugh ... Prob should have bought dell.

There is no key backlight which makes it very difficult to use in low light. Also, several keys are faded. Finally, the left side surface is very sensitive. Adjustments do not seem to help. I'd be glad to return it for a better unit and receive credit for this one.
