They're less expensive than Logic or Insignia but that also shows because they're inferior to other manufacturers, The keyboard is different, not as sturdy and the mouse is a piece of junk. The spring in the mouse doesn't hold so after a month I can't even use it and had to buy another one. Garbage. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" is true. I now know why when you buy a new computer, Best Buy doesn't give you an HP keyboard and mouse. They choose a better product.

I expected the quality of the keyboard and mouse to be a little better. The "B" key doesn't function properly unless I actually stab it with my finger nail. I realize that the pair only cost around $40.00 but still I expected better from HP.

Need short cut key for calculator. You have keyboard with numbers. Doesn’t do much good if I need to hunt for calculator on Desktop. Also my volume control doesn’t work with my HP desktop

I ordered this in error because it appeared that a keyboard and mouse were not included in the illustration that accompanied the online picture of the system I ordered. Those appeared to be greyed out. By the time I'd located the return instructions, I'd lost track of the invoice that came with the package. I did find an obscure note online that told me I could take the package to Best Buy, which, because I didn't have the invoice, I did not do.

3 KEYS DON'T WORK, BUT GOOD OTHERWISE
Was in a bind when Illogitek went nuts, figured I'd try HP since I'm running an HP tower. Was shipped VERY fast and I got down to work; However, the 7, 8, and 9 keys don't work. I just must remember to go up top for those keys but it's annoying. I sent HP an email but never heard back. I wouldn't have been able to return it anyway as I was so far behind.

Great basic keyboard and mouse
I needed an new keyboard/mouse for my new laptop and docking station in my home office and this filled the bill at a very good price. I'm not a gamer so the basic features work great. I like the feel of the keyboard although it is taking some getting used to.

the first order had a defective mouse, HP made the return painless and vey quicklu delivered a nw combo..it was easy to install and it works great - only sugestin - the orinal keboard was smaller and my hubby has a narrow desk o he liked the smaller one better - but everyhng works great and it was a great experience!

How does the battery LED work on the keyboard? Is it supposed to show a color based on battery life? Mine is unlit at all times.
Thank you for your question! The LED light is for charging status. While you are charging your keyboard the LED will be in an amber/orange state. When charged it will be lit green so you know to stop charging.
