Illegal mugging of your wallet
Too expensive, you got everybody over a barrel cuz you know they need this ink in this printer. Nothing else will work. Cartridge is not even full when you get it. Doesn't last as long as it should.

How many pages should an ink cartridge print?
Ran out of ink printing legal documents so got on line and ordered a new HP61 Black cartridge. Shipping was pretty fast and delivery came in just a few days but I only printed 3/4 of the documents before I ran out of ink again! Why doesn’t the description say how many pages a cartridge should print?

Poor service
It took 22 days from when I ordered and paid until I received my cartridges. I bought one in the mean time from a store and canceled this order, however, customer service never canceled it or refunded my costs. I now have three cartridges.

I do ALOT of cross-stitching and print out my patterns. I sometimes feel my ink cartridge are low on ink before I use them. I seem to be able to print about 8-10 color pagesand 15-20 (some combination of both). You have a return program for used cartridges but why not rewards or incentives for them?

Keeps Old Printer Working Like New
I'm glad I can still get HP Original Ink Cartridges for my old printer! I don't print very much, but when I do the old printer does a great job. The ink lasts me for a year or two, and whenever I replace the cartridge it prints as good as new! I previously had a different brand of printer and the print head got clogged up from low use. I THINK the print head is part of the cartridges for my HP printer, so replacing the ink cartridge fixes any problem if it does get clogged. But I've always felt as if I've used up my money's worth of ink before the cartridges need to be replaced.

I have always had good service from HP ink as well as printers and over the past 27 years have purchased many for my company. However, I am of the opinion that at the retail level, all ink cartridges are exceedingly over priced. In this period of high inflation and dollars being worth less and less, the public will begin to search for less expensive alternatives; and the consumers usually get what they demand.

I only used my #61 XL ink on few pages, and I am getting message that my ink is low. I always use 61 XL on my printing, but maybe it dries when not it use for several days?

GOOD MORNING,I HAVE A DESK JET 2640 PRINTER. CAN I REPLACE JUST THE BLACK INK CARTRIDGE AND STILL HAVE THE PRINTER WORK. I NEVER PRINT ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES COLORED INK. THE # ON THE CARTRIDGE IS 65. WILL THIS WORK AS A REPLACEMENT.
Thank you for your question! The HP Deskjet 2640 printer uses the HP 65 cartridges. The HP 63 will not be compatible. Also in your printer, you can use one cartridge instead of having both. However, the color cartridge is used to make black printing darker. For best results, it is recommended to have both cartridges installed.
