This 63XL ink is not compatible with HP Smart Tank 5000.
This is the wrong 63XL On the side of the box it does not show it is compatible with HP Smart Tank 5000. Although I have not opened the box, the box is too large for the 1 7/8" tall and 1 5/8" wide ink cartridge. I need to return this ink to you. Please send me a prepaid return label.

Why doesn't ink match from
No return options
The ink didn't match my printer. I ordered on Dec 30th and so when I try to return it, it only brought up orders for the year, which was unfortunate because the year was over and I couldn't go back 2 weeks to select the purchased product.

the most important thing is the ink is great and they give you a recycle bag. I am an environmentalist. I was very happy to get the recycle bag. I recycled two sets of ink cartridges this month.

Not a reliable way to order
I have only ever used HP ink with my copiers; I either purchased at office supply stores or online. Since online shopping is now the best way to shop, that’s what I have done for several years.
But no longer…the HP shipments just take way too long to arrive and the ink cartridges are very expensive. I had run out of ink and was driving to a UPS shipping store to print out documents, at $4.00 each!
I will be searching for an alternative to buying HP online.

I don't recall when HP sent me a refill cartridge because it has been a long time. My printer is not used very much. Your refill program may not be benefit me as it would someone who used their printer a great deal of the time. I will have to take a look at the usage of the printer and make a decision.

NOT an XL cartridge.
I am very disappointed with the XL part of this cartridge. I printed out less than 250 pages in draft mode and got a “low ink” warning. I purchased these cartridges from HP direct after having bought some on Amazon with the low output problem. I thought by paying a bit more I would get authentic HP cartridges which used to last, easily, twice as long. I have had HP printers since the 1980s but it seems taking a digital file to Staples for printing is the way to go…or buying an Epson or Canon printer.

Strick with HP products and you will be fine.
I am very satisfied with my HP Office Jet 3830 and the # 63 cartridges give me clear, crisp images. The printer was easy to clear the very rare paper jams I had and it's nice to get the warnings that I'm low on ink. I also like the combination cartridge packages that save me money. I tried in the past to have cartridges refilled , but they don't last as long or they're not accepted by the printer. I now only stick with new HP cartridges. I always order online and the deliveries are fast and often earlier than promised.

This ink brand new at Office Depot, a standard HP at full price didn't last.I'm trying the XL cartridge to see if it will last longer than a couple weeks. The 1 star rating is for the 63 Black Ink, printed a few dozen pages B & W, then it was out of ink.
