I would rate HP 10 out of 100 on last purchase.
The HP DesignJet T-830 from the day delivered was un-reliable and your technicians are un-able to resolve the issues. To date the printer is not able to print a scale drawing and does not respond properly to the settings 100% scale drawings to be centered. The first print job cuts off the paper at 34" instead of 36" then it does the rest scaled horizontally but not vertically, with a 1/2" morgen at the top and beginning and back and 3 inch morgen at the bottom. This is not centered. The printer can not be used for scaled drawings. I would not recommend HP to anyone based on my experience with HP's technical support or the quality of their equipment. As for HP's computers they are not capable of connecting with other computers and servers on my network they can not even talk to each other. I have two Dell servers a Power Edge 1600 Servers running Windows 3, a Dell Power Edge T410 Server running Windows Server 16 and a Dell Workstation T7500 all are over 12 years old and communicate with everything but any HP computer.

Great Size for Plotter Projects
Despite the fact that the plotter is fairly efficient when it comes to ink consumption, few things are more annoying than running out of ink midway through a draft. These larger cartridges reduce the chances of that happening.

Bought a new HP Plotter at a reasonable cost but the terms required the purchase of HP ink. First ink order was for (2) black and (1) of each colors. Total bill was over $700.00 which was over 25% the cost of the plotter.

Good capacity-extending product.
The oversize capacity is great. We had issues getting the DesignJet T730 we have to "see" the cartridge - took some wriggling and re-starting - but it works perfectly for us and a much longer between-changes period.

There are no average page yields available for HP DesignJet printers because there is no standard-size print on the DesignJet.

Is Deskjet 728 matt black 300ml for my Design jet T830? It looks awfully big, how do I install it?
The manual on this link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04905853.pdf page 94 shows how to replace the ink cartridges.
