It Pays to buy the Original
I have tried to use after market cartridges in my HP printer and even though they claim they will work, they do not. By using original HP ink I know I will be printing as soon as they arrive. I like the quick free delivery which means I won’t be down for long.

Waste of money
It would be nice if you’ve didn’t have to spend 100.00 for a black cartridge that you can’t use alone. You have to have all four cartridges in the printer to just use black ink. Very aggravating .

Printer ink and associated printer software
When the class action lawsuit happens, I would like to participate. I order all 4 ink colors. Black in arrived and I replaced it in the printer. However, the printer still would not operate without the other colors even if I only wanted to print in black ink. What a scam! The other colors arrived about 2 weeks later. In addition, I had to reload the printer software to get my 2 printers to function. I am NOT a happy camper. I will never purchase another HP printer and if the corporate behavior continues, it will also be my last computer or laptop. I had a situation like this with one of Apples first computers. I have never purchased another Apple product again. Customers have options with many competitors. HP needs to think about there long game...is it really worth it!

The entire purchasing process was marred by a confusing interface, relentless upselling, and shockingly high ink prices.
Firstly, the app's user interface proved to be anything but intuitive. Despite being notified that my ink levels were low, locating the option to purchase a replacement cartridge was a seemingly impossible task. The app instead incessantly pushed me towards signing up for HP's Instant Ink program. This felt like a blatant attempt to redirect customers towards a subscription service rather than providing a straightforward option for a one-time purchase.
Upon deciding to bypass the Instant Ink pitch and search for the cartridge manually, I was astounded by the exorbitant prices. The cost of the ink alone exceeded what I had paid for the printer itself, which left me questioning the value proposition of sticking with HP. It felt like an unnecessary financial burden, especially when considering the primary function of the printer is to produce documents or images, not drain my wallet.
In comparison, the market offers alternatives like Epson's tank models, which boast a more economical approach. The prospect of spending $200 for a set of four cartridges seemed far more reasonable and sensible. The stark difference in pricing between HP and its competitors left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of as a loyal customer.
In conclusion, the purchasing process for an HP printer cartridge was needlessly complicated, with an emphasis on steering customers towards subscription services rather than addressing their immediate needs. The inflated prices only served to exacerbate the frustration. As a result, I am seriously considering making the switch to a more cost-effective and user-friendly printer brand, such as Epson, where the value for money appears to be more reasonable and transparent. HP needs to reevaluate its approach to customer satisfaction and pricing if it intends to retain its customer base in the competitive world of printers.

Horrible Customer Service
Unfortunately, my overall experience with HP over the last couple of weeks has been HORRIBLE. I have always been a fan of HP and have previously owned three printers and two laptops made by HP. This latest experience makes it difficult for me to believe I will ever buy another HP product. First of all, the printer ended up breaking after only three months. Things do happen, but with good companies, they stand behind their product. HP did not. I can type forever about this, but I am so tired of wasting time with this company and getting nothing in return, it is not worth it to waste any additional time..... Craig
