What people should know about this product is that if the chip on the cartridge gets outdated then all of your very expensive ink is trash.
Brand new HP cartridges that don’t work. So buy them one at a time.

Pagewide cartridges
Extremely extremely expensive. I bought all cartridges and it cost me $570!! Had I known this, I wouldn't have bought the pagewide printer. There is no possible way that a print cartridge could cost more than $20 to manufacture all 4 cartridges. Please tell me how it can cost this much...

This ink cartridge last forever and ever! Well I really don't know yet but I can tell you the setup ink cartridge that usually does not have any ink lasted forever. Shipping was free when I had purchased and the cartridges were delivered the next day as well.

Pricey but well worth it.!
I recently had to purchase a new all in one printer. My old HP lasted 10 years which was amazing because of the amount of printing I do. My new HP is awesome. It prints twice as fast and the copies are amazing. All of the features are such an improvement. I LOVE it!

Takes heavy usage well
I bought this last month and use it for personal and business. My business is being a CPA. It is tax season and that is when my printer has the heaviest use of the year. So far the amount of ink used to provide copies has been amazingly efficient.

Great Product
I have never had any problem with the inks itself. The only reason for not giving the 5 star is because of HP. The are good in selling you the inks but when the equipment breaks down, there are no help with the ink new/closed packet ink left over.

Prices Not Accurate
Price is marked about $125, but when you check out if magically goes to $137 before tax. It's been that way for a long time. I've called to complain and the English as a second language staff just talks in circles and does nothing.

Quick ink when needed.
I recently received low ink warnings, but the last one seemed to come a bit sooner than expected. So there was a short period of no printing after the black ink cartridge gave the depleted message. With next-day delivery, however, I was back up and running, with no problems since then -- with the ink and printer, that is!

Wonderful products
I bought these to replace my cartridges in my M477. I love the printer and it was super easy to set up. I dont know why so many people had a hard time hooking it up. In an hours time I had it opened up, set up, and 4 devices connected. I love it! Great machine!

Beautiful quality and a real workhorse
I bought this AIO for my home office after a client recommended it. While several people share theirs, I am the only user in my business. But I had grown frustrated by the typical "small business" and "home office" all in one printers, which are too wonky and cheap for the volume of printing I do. (I am a writer and a consultant and print out a lot of written reports, media articles and scan large documents.) The ink lasts like a laser printer -- months (and costs about the same). Printing on one or two sides is as simple as a click in the print dialog box, and printing envelopes -- invariably a hassle with the Epsons and Canons of the world -- is simple via the printer's second adjustable tray. (It's as if it says: You're in business, of course you need to print an envelope. How refreshing!) The color and print quality is just beautiful. Scanning is also great -- the document feeder reliably feeds 50 pages without a hickup. My only complaint is that every once in a while scans do not appear on my Mac, or at least are not visible in the folder I have set scans to go to. I have yet to solve that mystery. Otherwise, it seems perfectly compatible with my Mac (OSX High Sierra). Oh, and the paper tray holds a whole ream of paper. It's a beautiful thing.
The price is well above what you'd pay for a "home office" printer, but for me it was well worth it to avoid the hours and aggravation of wrangling with document and envelope feeders that stopped working, or running out of ink every other week. The footprint is larger than your typical home office all in one, but it fits on top of a standard bookshelf. (And the sad fact is I had two printers stacked on top of each other so that I could get something printed when one or the other stopped working. So now I'm saving space.)
I would also like to note that most of the printer reviews available thru Cnet and
Consumer Reports don't seem to address the issues I comment on. I must have read 100 online reviews of other printers, and only one even mentioned this printer. That may be because it falls between small AIO printers and the larger office printers. If my client hadn't given it rave reviews, I would not have considered it. It is well worth the investment. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the scanning issue.

The HP 972X High yield cartridge has proven to me well worth it's value. I get at minimum the number of sheets the cartridge is stated it should print. the color and clarity have had multiple people asking and commenting on the quality of my papers and handouts. Thank you
