Worth the Slightly Higher Cost
Fully adjustable display, great image, the 4 USB ports make a great, clutter-free hub. Totally impressed by the intricate & durable cardboard packaging that I was able to fully recycle--no foam & only minimal plastic. Only glitch is that the audio in my 11-yr-old HP laptop defaults to the speakerless monitor for some reason(?), so I keep having to disable this output sound device in Windows settings; I'm sure I'll figure out a solution eventually.

Lovely Display!
I'm using this as a second display for my gaming laptop. It's plug and play, no special drivers or software necessary. The display is cool and crisp; no bars or screen tears. It flips seamlessly between main display and secondary as necessary.

Sleek, beautiful and functional monitor
I recently got the HP E22 G4 FHD Monitor. First thing out of the box - this is a sleek and beautiful looking monitor. It does not have a bulky base and that makes a huge difference in the look. The screen is flat and looks beautiful.
The screen has blue light filter which helps in reducing stress on my eyes. It is adjustable, which works great for me as I work half of my day in a sitting positions and half in a standing one.
It has a VGA, HDMI and Display Port with USB ports so you can connect to most machines easily. The screen is well lit and bright enough!
Really loved this monitor and it is working great for me.

The size of the monitor is a bit smaller than I'm used to, but it's not bad. This monitor has clean lines so it looks nice on the desk and it doesn't look cheap. The color on the screen is pretty vivid and is perfect for work.

Great professional looking monitor
First of all this monitor looks great on the desk and gives a professional look. The height adjustable metal stand really stands out as it helps me to keep my neck straight without buying any external monitor arm.
Also the monitor is a 1080p (FHD) with 60Hz refresh rate. Which is good for office work and video watching. There is no fancy HDR feature and brightness is 250 nits max. So it’s not super bright.
Apart from the feature of not having any external brick is great as this reduces clutter under desk.
In all a great monitor for normal use but man the stand at this price point is really good!

Great compliment with my HP E27d G4 QHD Advanced D
So I have a 27D w/ integrated camera which I use. I got this smaller monitor to be able to tilt vertically as my 2nd monitor for email and other 2nd screens where vertical is more beneficial. Like the 27D, the bases match and are solid weight. No tipping over. The bevel is minimal and the ports on the back are plenty for what I need it for. I am pretty bad at navigating the menu with the well-hidden buttons on the bottom left...that's more patience on my side :)

HP to the rescue for my eyes!
I will say right off the bat that I was using a slightly larger monitor and wanted to try this HP 22G4. Since it’s a brand new monitor I only had the HP reputation to go on so I knew the quality would be on point. What I didn’t realize was that it would be more comfortable than the 24 inch monitor I’m using, especially on my eyes. Apparently it has an Eye Ease feature on it and it totally works. It’s More comfortable and has some always on blue light filter and I don’t see my eyes being strained in the middle or even at the end of the day. That’s something very important to me since I’m always working from home. It’s a 1080 P monitor so you’ll be getting the visual quality there and it’s also an IPS which is the only type of monitor I use.
I’m glad I gave this HP monitor a try because I do a lot of word processing, spreadsheets, emails as well as gaming and for a 22 inch monitor I would say this fitsthe bill. Very happy

Easy on the eyes
I spend the work day looking at a monitor, and this one is the best. It’s easy to set up, just unbox, plug in and go. The multipoint adjustment makes it easy to position so my neck isn’t sore, and the built in blue light assist helps with eye fatigue. The picture is very clear, especially when streaming a show. It’s a great monitor.

good picture with minimal bezel
I have this for about 2 weeks now and I can say that its got a better picture than my previous monitor. nice blacks and bright whites. Good color all around. I use it for a work/school monitor and it works perfectly for this application. I'm not a gamer so I cant speak to that application but I can say that I am not getting any tracers from the mouse and the videos I watch through it look good.

Sleek Monitor
This monitor is great. I love how high the stand is and that you can adjust the height and tilt of the screen. It was pretty easy to setup except one part the arm will rotate once you have it connected to the base, it took a little force but it all worked out. I really like that the Eye Ease is on the screen I was using blue light filtering glasses, but this monitor doesn't bother me as much. It is easy to connect to my desktop and on and off button is easily accessible. All in all I am impressed the size, color and over all experience has been great.

Super easy to adjust
The monitor is not very heavy, and it was very easy to put together out of the box. The arm swivels back and forth and the screen itself can be tilted, which makes it extremely easy to position the monitor in a variety of ways.
Visually this monitor looks great! It has a sleek design that is aesthetically pleasing and doesn't take up too much space, but the best part about this monitor is the full HD resolution. The picture quality is crisp, and the colors are super vibrant.

Amazing quality!
I have been working from home for several years using a small laptop. I didn’t realize the strain on my eyes until I added the HP E22 G4 monitor.
At 21.5 inches, it doesn’t take up much room but gives a great amount of new screen space! The screen resolution is perfect for your eyes and I find myself not needing as many “eye breaks” as before. That definitely a positive!
The HP screw was easy to unpack and set up. The directions were easy to follow and made sense. The ease at which you can move the screen around is amazing! Very minimal effort to adjust to your daily needs.
Definitely LOVE the addition to my home office!

Great Design
This monitor assembles quickly and is sturdy. Be aware the base plate rotates which had me confused for a minute on why the monitor and the base didn't line up square. Assembly can be completed in less than 5 minutes and you are ready to go. Also all the cords you would need are included which is a huge bonus. The colors on this screen are great for prolonged viewing. Great Monitor.

Great for everyday use
Perfect monitor for school/work use. Easy to set up, full HD clear screen. No dead pixels or any other issues. It looks great and is the perfect size for office work and school work, it's not so big that it takes up too much room, but it is plenty big enough to work on and be able to easily read documents, watch movies, or even have multiple documents/webpages set up side by side on the one screen. If you want a simple monitor that just works and looks nice, this is a great quality monitor that won't break the bank.

Amazing Monitor!
This is an amazing monitor! The installation of the base and stand was easy, no tools needed. The stand and base provide a great height for the monitor. I was easily able to hook up my laptop. The quality of this monitor is good, and the value of the product is good as well. The 21.5-inch screen size is adequate but not too big and clunky. I recommend this product.

Nice big screen
This monitor was a snap to put together! It hooked right up to my MacBook with an adaptor I had. The image was clean and sharp although the color was just a bit off. At some point I will adjust it to match my laptop. I did change to dynamic mode and that was all the fussing I did! Spread sheets are life-size. I may give up my reading glasses!
