Rated 5 out of 5 by SPA Inc from Pay attention to availble ports and your need Purchased for our case manager. We have no complaints. Make sure when you buy it you know what the connections are. We did not pay close enough attention to this and we are running a double monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by daisy_valley414 from Compact, Powerful, Fast, Quiet Workstation When I started a new remote job a few months ago, I wanted a small, powerful, and dependable workstation. I needed something lightweight that I could easily travel with. This workstation met all of my company's device requirements as well as my own personal specifications. I am so glad I chose this. I use it for long 11 to 12 hour shifts with two 24 inch monitors and a webcam, and it has never overheated. It barely makes any sound when it operates. It has all the ports I need to connect my accessories including a wired keyboard and mouse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by The Old PC Builder from Fast But Kind of Pricey The compact size of the HP desktop mini's is awesome. They've had these for maybe roughly 10 years now, with a lot of the early ones having overheating issues and being noticeably slower than their SFF (small form factor) and mini tower relatives. Both of those issues have been gone since roughly the G4 era, which is when AMD Ryzen models become available. These can be mounted behind certain HP monitors like the HP Elite models with an adapter quit, so pretty neat there. You've probably seen this at hospitals, clinics, and some other places. It does add some cost so not necessarily always worth it as space might not be a big issue either. Giving this model 4 stars instead of five as Intel has completely shaken my confidence on their entire Core 13th and 14th gen line, although you all reading this can remain fairly assured that this won't be a problem on this model as it uses a 35W TDP model whereas Intel says the issues are on 65W and higher models (think big tower desktop machines, professional workstations [OUCH!], gaming machines, etc.). HP also dropped the AMD versions of this line a little over the year ago for some reason and is just now starting to bring them back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wespac from Just changed from Dell but HP not all that much better custom config pc - i cannot even customize any settings on this pc because the "operating system is not activated" - why does HP not test their loads when they do a custom configuration? otherwise the function and speed of the pc is good. I just started to change from Dell over to HP due to frustration with Dell product and support. Now I already have issues with HP as well... disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by K.B. from Never received my 3 year active care protection despite paying for it I purchased HP 3 Year Active Care Next Business Day Onsite w/Defective Media Retention DT HW Supp and your Order Summary email sent to me said it's been "Delivered" but I NEVER received an email or any other confirmation that I have it. So...I paid for something and never got it. I reached out a number of times asking for status and have been ignored. So...I'm left without protection even though I paid for it. Not very ethical of HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jamie CC from Small but mighty powerhouse I am so pleased with this purchase and the great deal I got on it when I bought it. I've been an HP fan for a long time but this system really kicks it up a notch. I especially like the small footprint and the selection of connections available. Very speedy and responsive - I would highly recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allenn from G9 i712700 PC Power on set up works fine. Be aware that the first software patches take time to install. Also allow extra time for the BIOS update to run. The screen will blank out for 2-5 minutes with no indications of it running Be sure to NOT power off during this time. It works especially well with my HP 32-inch 4k monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NaturePhotoGuy2 from Mighty Mini with Great Value I upgraded to this from an HP gaming machine that I purchased about 8 years ago. This time around I did not need a gaming machine but I did want something that will last 8-10 years and allow me to upgrade and extend the machine as needs arise (disk and memory). I have never been a fan of laptops for all sorts of reasons so I did not want to go that route. The integrated graphics on this 12 gen Intel hardware is so good that for my purposes I will never need a dedicated graphics card. Its my understanding that it will drive up to 4 monitors. I have an ultra wide myself running at a fairly high resolution and it runs that just fine. Everything about the machine is lightning fast. It also runs silently. I cannot hear the fan unless I get very very close to it. The case that it is enclosed in is sturdy metal of some sort. My unit came with the option to use either Windows 10 or 11. Having the option was nice but I went with Win 11 and it runs that very well. The HP Wolf Security software works great on Win11 also. I have not noticed any slow down at all from running the security software. It just does it thing in the background and stays out of the way, as it should be. I love the option to connect internet either with a physical cable or with Wifi. I was also surprised to see that there is a now a feature that lets you spin up a guest hotspot from your computer. Not sure if that is a Windows thing or what but was a pleasant surprise. The compact size frees up workspace. I was able to set it up on my printer rack out of the way but I have seem some people mount these under their desk or even behind their monitor. Lots of great USB connection options. I combined this with a couple small USB hubs for my various devices so I am only using 2 ports for like 8 devices leaving other ports open for more ad-hoc needs. I plan on using this computer for home office work, and also advanced photo editing software which can be RAM intensive but my configuration starts with 32gb and its my understanding this can be upgraded to 128 if needed so should have plenty of room to grow over the years. One additional surprise I had was this this machine has very low power consumption. I was originally trying to use with a smart power strip that cuts power to dependent devices when the PC goes off but this little machine uses so little power that unless you are actively using it the power strip kept thinking that it was turned off. (ha ha) So I just had to use a normal power strip but I thought that was funny in a good way. So yeah love this little machine and I got a great deal on it. Keep it up HP!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by I. J. Fox from Good security, not so good storage. Great---if you don't need to stare anything of any real size on it. I have never purchased a pc that had so little storage space, and for the price tag, it is actually insane. It is my fault for not registering that it has under 500 GB of storage, but that is basically nothing these days. For how much money I spent on this, I am very disappointed. So, be warned.
