Very slow and support hard to find
I'm not sure if this is the HP or W11, because both are new to me BUT (1) setup has been tangled at best, and my experience trying to get support tiresome (2) startup is agonizingly slow and it often slows down when collecting email and I can't figure out why, but I hate to waste hours trying to get help. I chose HP because I was told the support would be superior to Dell (which was terrible). So given what I spent I'm very disappointed. My 9-year-old MacBook, with half the memory and its own crankiness on waking, is so much more nimble than this.

A laptop you will love.
This HP EliteBook 840 G10 is excellent. 14 " screen. Easily upgradeable and most comfortable. It is a winner.
But the user manual is light on clear and detailed information. As a long term techie some difficulties were experienced with understanding the manual. The spefications are excellent guidance for both operation and upgrading.
After 3 weeks I really love this laptop. Highly recommended.

KEYBOARD IS NOT WHAT I REQUESTED. I WILL NOT USE IT! A WASTE OF MONEY!
I have not and will not use this computer, even after all the money I have spent. I am an AS/400 programmer an need the "pg up and pg dn" on the right side of the keyboard, for programming. I have always bought HP Laptops and the Online salesperson said that these keys were in the same position as my current Elitebook 840 G8. NOT TRUE,

Great laptop
This laptop is blazing fast, slim, and exactly what I need. When I first saw the keyboard, I was extremely worried about the location of the power button - I figured I would hit it at least once per hour. Thankfully, just accidentally pressing it doesn't power-down the computer of put it to sleep, so it's not a big deal. One thing I do miss, though, is the grouping of arrow keys, home, end, page up, and page down keys on the far right. I am still getting used to the new locations of these buttons.

Sound quality issues
I'm actually having a problem with my new Elitebook, specifically the sound quality on YouTube and Facebook videos. It sounds slightly distorted--just enough to be annoying. I took my laptop to a local tech, paid $120, and he said there's nothing wrong, just that I have low-quality speakers & some videos have crappy sound. However, my last computer is an Elitebook 840 G3 with Bang & Olufsen speakers, and when I perform a side-by-side comparison, my old computer sounds absolutely fine. I'm really bummed.

First PC DOA, terrible online support
First laptop arrived DOA. Replacement laptop took 2 weeks to arrive even though next business day delivery was promised. HP's website is very poorly designed, requiring multiple log-ins to complete the simplest of tasks. Tech support was needlessly difficult to reach. Based on my experiences engaging with HP so far, I'm concerned about the reliability of this laptop. It has a 3 year warranty but that is only valuable if the customer can navigate HP's terrible online support.

No link to reset password, locked out.
This seem to be a very laptop. I didn't get a chance to use it. I set it up for facial recognition. I stepped away for a few minutes and when I returned I had to log in. It was asking for a password instead of facial recognition. It did not recognize my password and it didn't have a link that said forgot password. There wasn't another option to sign in. I called HP customer service and they tried to assist but that didn't workout. One suggested that I do a factory recovery or call Microsoft. The next representative sent a USB recovery drive. They sent the wrong drive. So unfortunately I had to return the laptop. The screen was smaller than I anticipated. That was my fault. Customer service were easy to reach and they tried to resolved the problem. I spent too much time to get going. I needed a laptop immediately. Unfortunately, I purchased a different brand.

Damaged Laptop, replacment to be seen in 1 1/2 months
Order Laptop before Thanksgiving. Arrived damaged, sent it back, it was reordered and now mid January delivery. I am not happy.

Loud fan
The fan is extremely loud and whirs up and down continuously. I've never had a laptop anywhere near as loud. It's quite distracting and annoying.

So far it’s been good
I’ve had over two weeks, and the set up has been a little more than expected. It has not be difficult, but I was hoping for a plug and play, boot it up, and I’d be off and running. It required more set up screens, applications, etc. However, it’s been a few years since my last purchase.

Very Disappointed
Computer arrived damaged. Originally I thought it was only a small dent, and accepted a 10% credit. Later, I saw that the screen was damaged. Customer service is difficult to contact even though I have onsite support.
