I purchased the HP Envy 6555e directly from HP. I initially had issues installing the Instant Ink, the installation would not connect. When I tried again, there were issues with the cartridges not communicating. I called the HP Help line which was unable to assist and would have a technician call me. The technician called, out of country and difficulty understanding. He asked permission to get control of my computer so he can check what the issues were. He then stated I have a Trojan and continued to ask if my computer was used for banking, paying bills online, etc. I became very suspicious and nervous with those questions being asked, when my main issue was with the ink cartridges!! He continued to inform me the Trojan had to be removed, of course this was above my computer knowledge. He attempted to remove it and was unable to do so. He said HP only deals with issues related to the printer, but may be able to check for assistance with another technician. He then placed me on hold for a few minutes. When he got back on the phone, he informed me they are able to assist for $199!!! What??!!! I just purchased a brand new printer, the ink cartridges malfunctioned and now they want ME to pay for an issue not related!! I have had no computer issues….I feel 100% I was being scammed by this “technician”. He’s either one bad apple in the bunch that won’t get caught (you can hear a large amount of background noice, sounds like hundreds of callers), or HP is trying to earn extra money….SCAM!!!

I love my HP 6555e!
I love my HP ENVY 6555e printer! First off, HP is a trusted, reliable, and quality brand, and is my go-to for printer and computer needs! Second, this printer is pretty and sleek. I love the slim and sleek design that looks perfect next to my computer. The HP instant ink ready feature is awesome because I know I never have to worry about running out of ink, and it makes it so easy to get ink and cost effective as well! The HP envy 6555e has everything that I was looking for in a printer! I use this printer in my 2 person household and it is perfect for us! The color accuracy when printing is top notch and the documents come out so vivid and detailed! I also absolutely love the swinging design of the tray to hold paper that can be easily slid in and out for convenience as well as being a space saving design. The HP envy 6555e also makes connectivity easy, with options such as AirPrint and has effortlessly connected to Wi-fi. Overall, I am absolutely happy with this printer! It has all that I need and has exceeded expectations. I look forward to years of high-quality printing from my HP envy 6555e, and would definitely recommend it!

efficient, user friendly and fast
I've used this printer for a couple weeks now - I have to say I'm blown away by the speed of this printer. I feel like this printer exceeded my expectations, I even started printing things for fun because I couldn't believe how vibrant, clear and fast everything came out. Ink changes: Let’s see if it’s worth it
HP is really starting to crack down on people using illegal ink cartridges and this may be the first time using a printer that can get you subscribing to an ink and paper delivery service based on how much paper you print. TBD to see if this will save our family money. I have an HP printer from 7 years ago that works fine so I was curious to see how much has changed. First, the setup took forever! I had to restart my printer as it got stuck on the alignment scanning step. You’d think this would be easier! I do love that there is a scanning option for photo IDs on the printer as I feel like I do this often. It flawlessly prints double sided and the corps look great thus far. It also has a nice compact look so I’m easily able to save room on my desk. The WiFi printer is so nice to print stuff from far away, not even being at home. In general, this is a great home printer that has so far printed everything with clarity and ease.

Very vibrant
This HP Envy printer is very easy and fast to set up. It is sleek and much more compact than my previous printer. I was really amazed at how vibrant a copy of a picture came out. I am also happy at how clear and easy the touch screen display is. It not a loud printer so that is a plus. It connects to my phone and wifi fast. This printer does so much it saves me alot of time.

Great printer
Printer works great and setup was pretty easy, I did have a little hiccup with the app glitching but was able to fix it quick. Pictures come out pretty good and the printing time is quite quick. It's pretty compact which is important because I don't have too much space on my desk. You can print your pictures right from your phone and it's super easy!

Sleek and easy to operate
Previously I owned hp deskjet 2652 printer . Compared to that , envy series looks sleek and light weight. Setting up was very easy unlike my previous hp printer. The touch screen is very sensitive and looks vibrant
I like the two sided printing feature which saves me a lot of papers
As for printing quality , it prints faster and neater. Color prints also look vibrant. When comes to photos it's fine but not the best as they claim they are great for photos.
Scanner works as intended.
I feel they can provide USB port just incase to take photo prints without requiring to use phone or laptop .
Price is competitive and it does come with a lot of features that fulfills modest home printing requirements

Awesome printer
This has been a great asset to my home. I had an old printer that worked but didn't do what I wanted it to. It just printer in black and white. This printer is awesome! It prints in color and that is what I was looking for so I could print photos. I like that I am able to pull something up on my cell phone and then be able to print it from my phone. I like that it's WIFI so no cords to get in the way and I can put the printer anywhere in my house. It doesn't have to be on my desk. I wished I would have gotten one of these a long time ago.

Great printer
I received the HP Envy 6555e printer, I was very excited to upgrade to this printer. The directions for getting started were very clear and easy to do. The ink was easily installed and I am comfortable changing it when it runs out. Connecting to the internet was very easy and it is convenient to have the capability to print from my phone or my laptop. The print quality is very clear and the colors are vibrant. This will definitely be a great printer choice for someone looking for a printer for their home office or business. This printer is very sleek in design, i love the compact size and that it can fit in almost any space. The copy is clear, and it scans. The only issue i had was the hp software set up took an incredible amount of time, but after that it was perfect. I would recommend this printer.

Very Good Printer
This printer was very easy to set up. One slight issue was the fact that the controls are a bit small, which took a bit of getting used to the quality of the printed pages is excellent. The printer also seems to print pages quite quickly The scanning function was also very easy to use, which is something we appreciate, since we seem to scan a great deal of documents HP really hit a home run with this printer, and we look forward to using it in the future

Great multi use printer
This is a great printer to print photos. I also print a lot of shipping labels to make money for my side business. This keeps up with the volume and provides a crisp, clear photo of the label every time. I look forward to printing photos for people's holiday gifts this year. The HP instant ink subscription helps with the ink cost tremendously. Being able to print, copy and scan from one device is extremely beneficial and the sleek and compact design fits easily into my office space. I loom forward to using this printer for years to come.

It handles the work load
The HP ENVY 6555E Printer is sleek and durable. The design and new features are accommodating for work and home use. The printer was easy to set up and connecting it
was a breeze. Installing the ink was no problem. My family enjoys the HP mobile app and just being able to use their phones to print. With all the features like the printing, scanning, copying and mobile faxing it is ideal for our household. We enjoyed working with this printer for school projects, homework assignment, business, and personal. The only dislike was color printing setting was a tiny bit blurry for my liking. Also the mobile fax feature is only a trail period and you will have to pay to access this feature, I don't know if it will be worth keeping after the trail period it depends on the cost. But overall a incredible printer. Thumbs up.

Love it
We've been using 2 competitors brands for roughly 16 years now and decided to switch back to HP. The one competitor lasted quite a long time but ate up ink very quickly so we switched to a different competitor. We went with them because we had received very good prices on the units but after 2 printers that hardly lasted we decided to switch back to HP. Wow!! We couldn't be happier!!! This Printer is way quieter than all of our previous printers, prints very quickly and great quality prints! I was also extremely happy with how many prints you get per cartridge and the cartridges are easy to find.

Just the all in one printer everyone needs!!
I was looking forward to receive one of the latest printer models in the HP line! I had a different model before and at the time I just got a basic one, but now, I just decided was time to keep up with times and get the latest model, one with the convenience of WI-FI direct printing!! The setup was a breeze, one I turned it on, the printer was "seen" in the HP smart app and installed it in few very easy steps! No need to be a techie, just follow the instructions on the screen and you'll be done in no time! The printer comes with two cartridges, a black and color one and it performs the head alignment on its own! I printed few test pages and the quality of the prints is just awesome, not to mention when it comes to print photos!! The included scanner is a big plus, not to mention the fax capability!!! The latter, I still have to use it yet, I believe I need a subscription for using it, not sure yet.
The fact that whenever you want to print anything you can use the wifi direct function, makes this HP printer so easy and extremely convenient to use!! I am very happy about this product and I am already braggi g about amongst my friends and colleagues! I am and would recommend it to everyone! It's a must have, no different than having an appliance!

Perfect for my needs
This hp printer it’s exactly what I was looking for! It was super easy to set up and to connect to the wifi. My wifi connection it’s not good at all but thanks to the Dual-band, self-healing Wi-Fi my printer is always connected! The quantity of the prints are really good, the colors are bright and accurate. The size of the item it’s good, not too big, the quality it’s really great. I see this printing lasting for years. Definitely worth having very easy to use even my kids can make copies without a problem.

Sleek printer with amazing printing quality
This is by far the best printer I have owned! When I first got it I was impressed by the look but always the easy setup. With one using your phone to scan the QR code it is so simple to navigate through the directions. Placing the ink to setting up app and internet it was so easy. So the printer picture quality is amazing and when printing it is super fast. Did not have to wait forever for something to print. I wanted to see the quality of a photo and seriously just on regular paper the pictures was so nice and the pixels were so clear. Overall I am so impressed and so glad I have this HP printer. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality printer that looks amazing and does its job.

Great multi functional printer
You get 3 months free ink for signing up for the monthly plan but can cancel anytime. The printer was fairly easy to set up and you need the app to control and print from the printer. I can print easily from my phone via wifi and the print quality was very good both black and white and color. It was also easy to make copies using the printer. It has print, copy and scan feature. Although a bit heavier than I like, it was a good size and doesn't take up too much space. Would recommend!

Great Printer
I received the HP Envy 6555e printer. It is very light weight and fits perfect on the side of my desk. I had a small problem with setting it up, but I called HP, and the customer service was excellent. They helped me set it up and it prints great. The color comes out perfect. I had a printer that was big and bulky and only printed in black and white. This is perfect. I was also able to set up a printer cartridge refill program with HP so now I don't have to ever worry about running out of ink. This was a perfect investment.

Great For Everyday Use
The HP Envy 6555e is a great printer for everyday needs. Whether you're using it for schoolwork, arts and crafts, in the office, or so the kids can print out a bunch of pics to decorate their room with… It will get the job done.
You sign the printer into your wifi, and then, thanks to the HP Smart app, setup is very easy. Even if you're inexperienced with technology, you won't have to make a call for assistance. You simply open the app and follow the directions. Although you could contact customer support if needed.
One pro that really came in handy was being able to just send my kids the link to connect. It's just a simple link that popped up after installation. My kids always had trouble printing from their phone with my old printer. They'd have to send me whatever it was they wanted and I'd have to print it for them. I sent this link to my 16 and 13 year olds and both of them were able to set it up without any help from me. Both of them have been printing from the comfort from their rooms, only emerging when necessary.
There are other pros, like:

*Can scan ‘editable text’ documents with the proper software

Overall, the Envy 6555e is an awesome printer that not only meets, but exceeds my hopes and expectations for my household of 5. I would definitely recommend it.

Best Multifunctional Printer!
I love the HP Envy 6555e! I’ve scanned copies of my kids birth certificates with it. The HP app helps you do all of this and also stores your jobs in the app! I’ve also printed straight from my iPhone to the printer without using the app and it was beyond simple! This is one of the best multifunctional printers I’ve ever used before!

The HP Envy 6555e does is all! A great all in one
it prints, copy, scan, and mobile fax. My boyfriend loves the fact he can scan to pdf form for his job. Its convienent for me as a mother to two kids always printing and scanning documents for school and medical papers. I have not tried the duplex printing Print borderless photos yet but I am excited to see the finished photo product after I use that feature. The touchscreen display is easy to understand and navigate through.

This printer is perfect for my home office. I was able to quickly connect it to my home wifi and begin using it straight out of the box. The quality of each page is clear and concise. Pictures pop off the page in beautiful color, but even black and white documents retain a crisp look. The ink is very long lasting as well. I scan a lot of documents and the document feeder has no trouble keeping up. The touchscreen lets me quickly change settings, so I minimize my downtime. Print speed is quick and I love the double sided feature for saving paper. The look is sleek and suits my office space nicely.

I love Envy!
I really like all Hp products, but especially the All in one series. I am having problems setting up the scanner, but I know all I have to do is call Hp support and they will load it for me. I just haven't had the time. I recommend these products. I've tried all the different brands out there on the market but this is best for me.

This printer has been great for my professional and personal use. I like the compact size. It does a great job scanning, copying, and printing. The color quality is fantastic! It doesn't hold a ton of paper, but is easy to refill. It doesn't print very fast, but the quality of the printed product makes it worth the wait. I love that the printer connects to my HP Smart app and my Instant Ink subscription keeps me stocked up on printer ink and paper! I am very happy with this printer and would recommend it to others!

I am thoroughly impressed with this printer. I have the envy 6555e and it lives up to the promise I had hoped for. I needed a printer with a feeder tray and also the ability to print photos as well. The setup was pretty easy once I got the printer connected to the app. It prints SUPER quietly and pretty fast which I’m happy about. I haven’t had a chance to test printing any photos yet but I’m excited to see how they come out. It’s also very important for me to be able to print remotely from my phone or laptop and this does it flawlessly, super convenient! All in all the 6555e is a great value of a printer, that doesn’t take up a lot of space and it looks nice as well. Also the HP+ service is very interesting, looking forward to seeing the value that it brings in the future. I’ve attached photos, please excuse the printer being on the floor, it arrived as I was moving so didn’t have a table here for it yet LOL. I think this is a remorse-proof purchase for most people that have home or printing needs.

A great printer
I am a blind man, so my review will be a little skewed as I am not visually able to see the things on the screen that a normal sighted person can. I have been using the HP Envy 6555e for about a week now. Previously, I had been using a HP envy 5640 printer. One of the things I like about the HP and the 6555E printer is the document feeder. It is very helpful to use that feature. When I had assistance setting up the printer, it was easy to transfer the instant ink subscription on my previous HP envy printer to the new 655E printer. So far, when I print out documents, people say that the printouts look great. And with the new 655 e printer, it is still quite simple to use the HP Smart app to print the necessary documents I need to have printed out. I would highly recommend this printer for those at home that don't want to deal with trying to go to places to get their stuff printed.

I've been printing/scanning from the HP Envy 6555e and I absolutely love it. The print quality is so much better than the competitors printer that this replaced. This is way quieter than all our previous printers and prints extremely fast.
We love the appearance, low profile, and professionalism.
The set up was extremely easy and connected to our computer flawlessly. The HP Scanner software was easy to find, download and as a bonus it's user friendly!
The ink cartridges are affordable and easy to find to purchase! Ink is very easy to install, as well, in the printer.
The Digital Touch Screen is high quality and very user friendly. Wifi printing prints flawlessly!
Scanner scans at a very high resolution!

Super Sharp Printing Even On Plain Paper!
This HP6555e printer is phenomenal! It has a super clean and sleek design. A far cry from the old big clunky eye sores printers I’ve used in the past. It has some weight to it and appears to be made of good quality materials. Doesn’t take up near as much room as the older models either. The front loading paper feeder is a godsend! No more back bending struggle to reload paper into the back feeder. Amazing! The set up took about 10 minutes for me but I had a weird error. Restarting my phone seemed to fix it and we were in business in no time. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was a breeze. With five clicks I had it connected to my laptop. So easy. It comes with an easy guide online that is only a few short, easy to understand steps. It prompts you in the paperwork, website and even the touch screen guide to help you set it up. The print quality on plain paper was kind of shocking. It was super sharp, the sharpest I’ve seen. Beautiful even. I’m even considering using this printer for labels for my business versus ordering them from another company because the quality is just that good. It makes some noise while printing, which is inevitable, but it’s not excessive and won’t disturb anyone in your home or office. This will be used for both as I have a small home business. So far I am very pleased with the easy to use touch screen, easy to load paper feed and amazing quality it provides in its prints. I wish I switched to HP sooner. The ink replacement is also nearly 30% less than the cost of my previous printers ink. So it’s already saving me money which is just a bonus!

Great for projects
I was highly impressed with my new printer. You can great such vivid colors and clear documents on it. The color and brightness is impeccable. I made a flyer which came out great. My daughter had a school project to do which was really made easy by our new printer. It is also not too bulky like other printers. The speed of printing is really fast. It has made my life easier. Doing project with my daughter is not a chore anymore.

Easy to Use
I am 76 years old and I like this printer because I find it easy to use and set up. Set up was fast and easy using the HP app. I also purchased some photo paper to try out printing pictures as that was a big reason I wanted this printer, and it prints pictures nicely. I did however have to youtube how to load the paper in and print a picture as there were no instructions for this included with the packaging.
I think this printer prints papers and photos perfectly and beautifully. It is great for my every day needs and photo needs.

Awesome Quiet Fast Printer!
I was able to unbox and setup my HP Envy 6555e printer today. I must say this printer is so awesome! I connected it instantly to my wi-fi and phone for wireless printing. The setup was so easy to do! It did take a little longer for it to connect to my laptop for some reason. Once I got the proper driver to download, it worked perfectly! The colors printed out so vivid and bright! I can't wait to print out some stickers and photos with this printer. I have even personalized the printer with a glow-in-the-dark ghost sticker!
I would recommend this printer for anyone to use. The setup was so easy and quick to do. This is an affordable printer and has the HP Instant Ink feature as well, which makes it even easier to maintain ink usage and ordering replacement ink.

I haven't had a new printer in a while and was concerned setting this one up would be problematic but I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was. Everything connected perfectly with my computer and I was printing in no time! Bright, vibrant colors that make my printed photographs look very professional!

I have been using the HP Envy 6555e for about a week and I love it! I love the fact that not only can I print import documents, but I can print photos directly from my phone. I love that the printer can print, copy and scan. This printer is very very easy to use and the size is just right.
What i love about this printer is the quality once the document has been printed. I have not tried to use the color ink yet, but if the black and white prints with such great quality, I know for sure the color will just as great, if not better. The setup was very easy alone with downloading the app to connect my phone to the printer. This printer is very user friendly and quiet.
I would most definitely recommend this printer to my family and friends that is looking for high quality and affordability. No issues with connecting the Wi-Fi, the connection is easy as pie!

I’m delighted
I’m truly delighted with the HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer. First of all, it’s very sleek and elegant, and second, its performance is amazing. I’m impressed by the print quality, and I love the app that lets you do everything with the printer without having to deal with a bunch of cables connected to your PC. You can scan from the camera or the printer, copy, and send photos or files to print. It’s also super easy to make adjustments directly from the printer’s touchscreen. It has a paper tray with a good capacity, and the scan lid is lightweight and I really like its design – it’s both functional and practical. I highly recommend it!!

Super easy to start up and print from anywhere in
It took me about 6 minutes to unbox the printer. Then took me 15 to install and print my test page! I have used it for practice reading pages for my granddaughters with such ease! I love being able to print on a moments notice. Very easy to use on my phone and choose black and white print verses colored. It looks nice sitting on my counter in laundry room. Very sleek, professional, and prints quietly. I love it so much!

Fantastic & Flexible!
I've been using the HP Envy 6555e for a few weeks now and its turned out to be exactly what I needed for college, personal projectss, and even a few arts-and-crafts related projects! Very nifty and great especially for making those personalzied thank-you cards and prepping holiday greeting cardss. This printer is super versatile, it can print, copy, scan and mobile fax. Very easy to use and is a space saver!
My favorite parat is the print quality, its very good for what it is. I was surpised by how vibrant the colors were and how sharp the detail in printing was. I do a lot of visual work for school and work, and the borderless photo printing has really been a game changer in enhancing my projects to achieve that clean and professional look. If youre a creative person, this comes in handy as well! This printer far exceeded my expectations for an -at-home printer. The app is also very easy to use and set up, making phone to printer printing seamless and easy. I havent had any issues with wifi connection which is a big plus. Nothing worst than trying to connect your printer to wifi and getting errors, no issues with that here!
Id definitely recommend this printer if youre seeking an affordable printer that covers all the necessary solutions, is versatile, and is high-quality!

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer does not support duplex (two-sided) scanning from the ADF (Auto Document Feeder) on top. It can only scan one side of a document at a time.
If you want to be able to do double sided scanning through the ADF on top, we recommend looking at the HP Officejet Pro 9125e and 9135e printers.
