A good laptop for the price.
I really like this laptop. There are things I don’t use like the touchscreen that I can turn off. It has everything I wanted and need. The one thing that I don’t love is the touchpad. I have to click it multiple time for it to register. It can be frustrating.

I like HP products but not this one. This HP Envy that was delivered to me had a non-stop loud fan noise even for basic things like browsing the web. The motherboard was always hot as well. Other than that, the feel and touch of the laptop was as expected. Had to return because of the issues

Easy to use and seamless transfer
The transfer from my older HP computer was quite easy and seamless as I use MS Office 365 and OneDrive. Having the option of the pen vs mouse and touch screen is intriguing and I've only used it a few times. So far so good!

Stylus stopped working in the first week
Stylus stopped working in the first week. Spent 4 hours with customer service to get it replaced. Phone call would get dropped when getting elevated to the next person. When I called back they could not find my claim number and I had to start the process over. Finally got elevated to the point where a new stylus is getting shipped out. It was originally due to arrive within a few days, then it got pushed out to two weeks, and now it will be almost two months for it to arrive. I can order one online and get it within a week but that will cost $76.99. I ordered this for school and the term may be over before I will be able to use it to take notes. The pen feature was needed for my engineering classes. So frustrating.

Where's tablet mode?
I chatted and called a couple times for help with Tablet mode. Shouldn't take that long. And I was given the wrong information on my first chat. Then the second call took hours to solve my problem. I should get a credit for this happening on a BRAND new laptop,

I love it so far. The keyboard is configured well for typing. The lighted keys are a bonus. It starts up a little slow, but not enough to matter. I upgraded the memory so I have to wait a little longer to get it.

Great Laptop
I purchased this laptop to replace my all in one Hp desktop. I am not tech savvy and the set up was easy. The touchscreen is responsive. Love that it came with a stylus too. The ability to flip to tablet mode is great for when I am doing writing for my work.

Perfect for student life
I got this laptop to use as a student, and it has been absolutely amazing. It is never slow, and works really well as a computer or a tablet. I import PDFs of the notes onto my laptop and then fold it back to write on top of them. It works flawlessly. Battery life is good too, it lasts me almost all day in classes. It would be nice to have the security to not need to take my charger with me all day. I have only had it die on me twice in my three weeks this far.

Good laptop, Bad pen
This is a nice, solid performing laptop so far (1 week). It was shipped well-protected. But the stylus/pen doesn’t work well at all and we were surprised to see little to no guidance provided by HP in how to set it up and troubleshoot its use. The pen functions intermittently, so it’s connected but glitchy.

Very nice computer. My two issues are that the audio is certainly not what I was expecting from Bang & Olufsen. Not much Volume. The screen brightness sometimes leaves more to be desired. Best Regards

Great little laptop with lots of useful features.
This laptop replaced my older 14" HP laptop. I'm enjoying the touch screen and the biometric fingerprint login option. I haven't made much use of the tablet mode yet, but it flips easily in and out of that mode. Having a rechargeable pen/stylus (instead of needing a AAA or AAAA battery) was a nice addition, but it falls off its magnet attachment too easily, and I wish there was a more secure solution for this.

Hardware is fine, HP & Windows 11 bloatware is not
The computer itself seems to be fine although the battery, when screen is on full brightness and a workload of mostly copying files, will not last anywhere near the advertised "up to nine hours". I was down to around 75 percent charge after only an hour.
Also, of REAL annoyance, and I'm unsure whether it's Microsoft or HP responsible, is the barrage and onslaught of a tonnage of ads, offers, pop-ups and constant notifications appearing seemingly constantly. They are not easily elininated nor a matter of simply unlocking a notifications app. Further annoyance is with Windows 11 and Microsoft who REQUIRES SUBSCRIPTION to an internet service before the machine can be installed. And while this may be a good idea for most people, the fact that Microsoft will not let one setup his new computer without both an internet connection AND a Microsoft account is almost worth buying an older system. Also, very difficult, have not been able to do it yet, to set up without having to use use either a Windows or Microsoft password EVERY single time one turns on his personal computer at home. Windows 11, btw, no longer lets one customize window title bars and such - not HP's fault, but maybe all the advertising is.

14" HP Envy x360 Review
Custom-built laptop took a little longer than expected to arrive, but so far, it's working great and has everything I wanted. I will be mostly using it for grad schoolwork/virtual learning. It was easy to set-up. I'm loving the biometric sign-in fingerprint reader feature. I like how the keyboard is laid out and that you can turn on/off the keyboard backlighting. I have not used the touchscreen too much yet and haven't tested out the speakers, so I can't really comment on those. Display resolution is good. The biggest complaint I have is that it's difficult to find accessories for the 14" model (i.e., screen protectors, cases, etc.).

Had trouble connecting this laptop to my home wifi. Neither hp nor spectrum could fix this problem. Had to return this laptop and charged 15% restocking fee.

Thank you for your question! This HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-es1097nr is prebuilt and will ship as specified. There are many different ways to expand the storage on this Laptop, however. You can use a micro-SD card, a USB thumb drive, or an external hard drive. This laptop does not have an expansion slot for a second internal storage device.
