Rated 3 out of 5 by Stuck with no choice from battery dies then throw away the PC I hate the way the PC is sealed. There is no way to swap or use a spare battery. Want more RAM - buy another PC. I also dislike all the bloatware on new PC. There should be an option to delete non-essential software

Rated 5 out of 5 by S_annie from Student Review I am in love with this laptop! I love how you can flip it and the screen can be horizontal or vertical. It’s great for online reading! It comes with a touchscreen pen and the pen comes with 2 head replacements. The pen really helps highlight any text & to take notes. The charger is long and doesn’t take long to charge either. The keyboard lights up and you can choose how bright you’d like it. I have a tech friend who also approves of the laptop. Really recommend!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Happier with Dell. from HP needs to get it together. This is probably the 4th survey you have sent - seriously stop. Stupid thing gives me a daily warning about using a genuine HP adapter - which I am using the one that came with it. Should have stayed with Dell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Orlin from Very powerful CPU, low memory, medium size HDD. Out of balance. The laptop configuration is out of balance. I even tried to return it, when I learned that you cannot upgrade the RAM. And it is only 16 GB! Based on old knowledge, I was planing to simply add a stick. Nope! It is soldered to the motherboard. So, you get this powerful CPU, but low memory and a 1 TB HDD - that is not future proof neither. The laptop is not future proof! Unfortunately, they asked for a 15% restocking fee, which discouraged me and I'm now trying to sell it, or eventually convince one of my kids to take it. I still am giving it five stars, because all this I should notice and avoid. I ended up purchasing the same model, in a slightly different configuration, with a bit slower AMD Ryzen CPU but with 32 GB RAM and a 2 TB HDD. And I love it! The design is classy. The display is stunning. My daughter was walking nearby and stopped in disbelief: 'OMG, this display is amazing!' And I didn't even upgrade to the OLED! 16" is the right screen size. 1920x1200 is an OK resolution, but a little outdated. If you can afford, get the display upgrade - with the higher resolution. Unfortunately, this laptop doesn't have a LAN adapter. Not a big drama though. You can always find/create a wi-fi, or use one of these cheap USB-C hubs, that come with plenty of inputs, including RJ-45. Then use it as a docking station. Because it's new hardware, Linux distros do not fully support the wi-fi/Bluetooth. It works but it turns off at log out and needs to be turned on manually, when you log back in. Which doesn't happen in Windows. Both Linux and Windows work fast and reliably with this laptop. All in all, this series revived my hope for HP, after years of very bad configurations, sold under a revered brand. I see class, quality, effort to make things right. Not much bloatware (but some still is pre-installed).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pureclass from Overpay The HP laptop works fine, but I overpaid substantially! Not happy now I know why the sales person was pushing it so hard it was going to be a clearance item and the more they get rid of I’m sure the more commission he received!!! Grrrr!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendo0 from Solid Laptop I have had the computer for a couple of months not and I absolutely love it. When I was researching into what computer I should buy I had a hard time choosing one that was a solid price and that had all the qualities I needed in a computer. My old computer was a MacBook so I was a little spoiled with good battery life and knew it would be hard to find a good computer that could compare. I feel like this computer is able to keep up with MacBooks as I can get up to 6-7 hrs on it without having to charge it. Even though MacBooks are good laptops I need one that would let me properly program, so in other words I needed a windows or linux and not MacOS. While windows is a much better system to program on I am not a big fan of windows 11 as it is supposed to monitor everything you do. I like my privacy but I mainly plan on using this computer for school so I am letting it slide windows. Although this computer has the annoying windows 11 it does have a camera blocker which I do really like. The structure of the computer itself is very solid and I can old a corner with one hand without it bending like crazy (please always hold your computer with two hands). It also has a headphone jack, USB, USB-C, and an HDMI. The mouse pad is as big as a MacBook and it has a normal spaced keyboard and the home and end button are at the top unlike the other envy computers. The touchscreen is a good touch screen and I haven't really had any problems with it, although I don’t use it much. I wouldn’t say this is a good computer to someone who is looking for a simple casual one for class but for someone would needs a little more powerful laptop for programming or playing games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rgotte from Glad I spoke with a rep. Was planning on checking boxes on website. Had a couple questions so I made a phone call. The HP rep was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Talked me thru my questions. Made a couple changes, with his help, and I couldn’t be happier. Also it arrived sooner than expected. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kimmerc from Replacement for 8 year old ENVY 2-in-1 I bought this to replace an 8 year old 17" Envy 2-in-1. I'm still getting used to this smaller computer. I miss the separate number keypad. But I'm making due. This computer seems to be slower than my old computer. I'll have to figure out if I can change some settings. But otherwise, it's a good replacement and it suits my needs for bill paying, office uses, etc. Good battery life.

I am looking for a laptop that has drawing capability with a stylus. HP ZBook Power 16 inch G11 A Mobile Workstation PC 3 Yr Wolf Pro Security & 3 Yr Warranty or the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 16-ad0097nr. Which is best for drawing? And which stylus?

Asked by: LJC56
Thank you for your question! Normally the HP ZBook Power 16 G11 Mobile Workstation PCs are not an x360 or convertible laptops and will be difficult to draw directly on the display. Also, they will not be compatible with Active Stylus. An external device such as a Wacom pad or a passive stylus would be recommended. The HP Envy x360 laptops will be MPP compatible. The MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen is a good option and can be found here: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-rechargeable-mpp-20-tilt-pen
