EXTREME FRUSTRATIONI purchased the $400 installation support and network setup for my new Designjet T830. While purchasing, the customer service person told me that someone would come within 5 business days. We are a mechanical contractor so using wide format prints is a very important part of our daily work. After 5 business days, I called customer service. They could not find my equipment serial number, my service pak for installation, nor my 3 year NBD service pak. I had to send email with pictures of the box and paperwork to prove that I purchased anything. It took me 21 days of calling every day, getting bounced around from department to department (sometimes 8-10 people a day), and talking to multiple supervisors before I could get someone here. I even told them I wanted them to pick it back up and they refused to give me a refund. Very disappointed and frustrated by the way I was treated. I also did not like that everyone I talked to was from a foreign country. I had a very hard time understanding them.
I do have to say that the technician that came to perform the installation was very nice and helpful. He was efficient, had a good personality, and knew what he was doing. I was satisfied with him.
