It has a great speaker audio quality not using headphones. I enjoy it so far as not looking to far into my Religious in between use and scripts.
I wrote the code for the 11 op and most tone colors for what I have up on with how long it took to purchase and find it.

positive: lightweight, CPU fast, RAM 8GB & 128 GB NVM right size for linux, promotion price very good, battery lasts long (decreasing screen brightness).
negative: screen too bright in setup (cannot decrease brightness), fan is noisy when it is turned on, up/down arrows on keyboard are uncomfortable (more important than other keys). wifi disconnects in linux (realtek may be the culprit), lots of bloatware (I had to re-partition & erase Windows completely). The HDMI connection does not work with some projectors, Cannot get my Windows license # (please email it).

Great laptop!
Perfect laptop for my needs. I needed something smaller than my last one. This one is powerful enough for writing, watching videos, and listening to music. I don't do serious gaming so I can't speak on how it does with that but if you need just a good laptop for doing some MS office work and for entertainment, this is the perfect choice.

Great laptop!
I love this laptop! I wish I could have kept it but unfortunately I had to take it back because I could'nt really afford it at the time but needed it for an online test for a course I was taking, which worked out well. I passed! It was awesome while it lasted. Great laptop!

I’m a little disappointed with the functionality of this laptop. This is by far the worst experience I have had with an HP notebook. Scrolling is difficult and using using the click-pad is very aggravating. Every time I try to right -click it takes me several attempts before I am successful. I wish I could have returned it before my time was up but I couldn’t. I don’t like this notebook.

Disappointed
If I stop working for a few minutes then try to continue what I was doing the screen freezes and I have to exit what I was doing and then bring it up again. I'm working remotely and this has caused so many problems that I'm using my ten year old laptop to work instead. Another issue I have with this computer is that the characters on the keyboard are so light that they can usually only be seen from certain angles. The slightest amount of glare from any light in the room makes my keyboard look blank. I honestly wish I hadn't bought this.

I believe no one thought this out! Listen if there is no light on you can not use the keyboard on the HP Laptop with the pretty fatigue design. The keys are not shown in the dark. I know cause I purchased it and I have to have light on to type! I love my laptop but I can't do anything secretly...

Excellent Value, Another HP fine product
I've been using computers since 1982, and have learned that HP computers are the most reliable and long lasting, thus the best value. (I still have an HP in use that's over 12 years old with an i5 Intel chip that is still running strong.)
This computer, which I purchased new was upgraded by the retailer with a 1TB Solid State Drive. With the new SSD and 8GB of DRAM, the computer is lightning fast and runs cool (the SSD uses far less battery power than the original hard drive, which is now encased as an external back-up drive. I don't detect any real difference in speed between an Intel Pentium Gold and a Core i3 chip.
The only thing that I miss is a back-lighted keyboard, which would have been very helpful as the keyboard numbers are elegant, but fine-lined, making the keyboard difficult to read n low light.
My computer is Crimson Red, which is a real plus. (I hate black computers, which have been sat on, overlooked when packing early in the morning, and left in planes and restaurants because black is often hard to see -- I've learned my lesson to avoid dreary black laptops).
This computer also has an ether-net port, which is also a plus to ensure a hard-line connection for the many Zoom meetings, although the wireless works very well, too.
The sound is good, the touch pad is perfect, and I appreciate the right and left buttons being separate from the touch pad, making choices more precise..

Great Laptop
This laptop was a Christmas gift for me and I love it, it works fast and is great for doing schoolwork. Being a senior I have assignments that need to get done fast and this laptop is amazing for that. I would definitely recommend for a friend. I not only use it for school, but I am able to talk to friends through discord and play games on it as well!
