So bad, I'm using the old broken one
In fairness to HP, I should log my complaints directly and resist alerting friends and family about the negative experience I have had with this laptop. I purchased it to replace my HP laptop which had literally come apart and was being held together with duct tape. The connections are very sensitive and the screen only displays if it is in just the right position which makes it too delicate to move. I have been using my old laptop, even with its delicacies, because the new laptop is too dysfunctional. The touch screen is so disconnected that I have to be deliberately off the mark in order to effectively hit the mark. The mouse is equally inaccurate.

the best laptop, reliable and fast.
this is the best laptop that I ever had. it's very fast. For my type of work is amazing. I basically just the internet to do all my work, it open pages like nothing. even with my hotspot it works really good, I'm very happy with her performance, like I said it's the best at the right price

HP is the only laptop I ever buy
I have owned at least 6 HP laptops, maybe a dozen others over the last 25 years. I may not be the best advisor, but I have taught myself everything I ever wanted to know about computers. I've never had a computer class. I worked on one in the USAF for many years, now just for my own personal use a few hours a day, every day. I typically get about 3 years out of a laptop, if it starts acting up I am ready for a new one. I am sometimes careless and treat the machine a bit rough. If I would be more careful I could probably get more mileage, but I stopped getting repairs years ago. I could have any brand I want, and have long decided there will be nothing but HP for me. Their products just keep getting better, and I can't think of anything I would improve if I could.
HP takes care of improvements for me.

Good Computer, But Unreliable Wi-Fi Connection
In general the computer is good except for Wi-Fi. It constantly cuts out at least 2 or 3 times every time I get online. I did the troubleshoot that claims to fix it but it still happens. I check updates at HP and Windows for drivers but according to them I have the latest versions. All other devices attached to my Wi-Fi don't have this happening.

A descent product indeed.
All of the ports, except for the SD card port, are on the same side. Plugging in some things may get in the way of plugging in other things. The keyboard layout could be better and the internal fan is also a little noisy, but other than that it’s a decent laptop for a decent price. Good sound and video quality, and run speeds.

Works as Advertised; Delivered Early!
After a couple of months, I would say that this computer is perfect for my needs as an online instructor. Most of my storage is in the cloud, however, student information is secure on my hard drive. One thing that is annoying is the repeated messages to finish setting up my computer; I am not interested and have my own set up in my own way but even though I am a computer teacher, I have been unable to get the warnings to stop.

So happy with this. My old laptop was so old it kept freezing up on me. On on this one I can still read the letters on the keyboard, lol. Has a lot more memory than my old one and setting it up was a piece of cake with the oral instructions

Great feature and a very fast processor!
I bought this new laptop to replace my old one which was outdated and very slow. This laptop has a lighted keyboard which is a plus for using in the dark. I would recommend to buy this model for the price. It is not a gaming laptop, but to use for daily needs from a laptop is perfect model and I like mine with the color white.

PERFECT FOR PERSONAL USE!!!
I built this laptop online during HP's Independece Day sale. I received it in late July and I'm very happy with it. It's extremely fast, lightweight, and problem-free. I only use it for email, web-browsing, and some short video watching.

How do I change the LED colors on the keyboard? or is that not a function of this computer?
