Not Mac friendly
This printer doesn't suit our needs nearly as much as I'd hoped. We bought it to print transparencies (which is advertised as a feature), but the toner opacity just isn't good enough to block light. Also, there's some significant reverse dot gain, so fine lines or halftones always come out lighter than intended, with no option to correct this.
Secondly, the scanner refuses to play nice with our Mac network. There's seemingly no way to send files to a share point, and no support I can find anywhere that's catered to Macs. And the HP Easy Scan software for Macs won't even recognize that the printer has a scanner (The default Apple Image Capture app can't see it either). I tried finding the latest drivers at 123.hp.com, but this model isn't even listed. It instead prompts you to download yet another abysmal "HP Smart" app, which requires you to make an HP account, and STILL doesn't recognize the scanner.

GREAT MACHINE!
WE PURCHASED A MONTH AGO AND THIS MACHINE IS GREAT. IT IS EASY TO USE AND MULTI FUNCTIONAL. IT DOES EVERYTHING WE NEED FROM PHOTCOPIES, FAX, SCANNING AND MUCH MORE. GLAD WE MADE THIS PURCHASE.

Does the Multifunction Printer have the ability to scan double sided pages? If not, does HP offer any All-in-One Printers/Scanner/Copiers that have the ability to scan double sided pages?

MS365 email requirements have become more strict. The newest requirement is that the scanner uses TLS 1.2. (TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are not accepted). Does this scanner have TLS 1.2 so we can scan-to-email through MS365 as of 8-10-2023?

Is the second tray 11x17? Office Depot specs say largest sheet size is 11 3/4" x 16 1/2"...are they just talking sq. inches? The printer says non-returnable...we need to be certain!
