Forced Registration
I have been using HP Printers since my first purchase in 1995 and whether it was a DeskJet or a LaserJet or an All-in-One I have never been disappointed...until now. It is not the quality of the printer, it was the fact that it quit printing after a few pages with a notice that I had to register it or it would not continue. I am NOT happy to say the least.

Cheap Laser Jet.
Dont get me wrong its a nice cheap printer but it does not double side print. It likes to waste paper .the print quality is good but when the pages come out they curl they are not flat. Their are not many settings when you use the insta ink service. Which by the way you have to leave your printer on 24/7 so it knows how much you print and when you ink is low another waste of resources. It sets up easy but is really hard to connect to apple products. Setting up to my laptop and android phone was a piece of cake. I do not like that the paper tray is not hidden. The paper just sticks out there so the printer needs to be put where nothing hits it. But for the price its a cheap printer. Would I buy it again probably not.

Frustrating mess
It would not work because an error message kept saying I have a 5GH router and I absolutely do not. It is configured for 2.4GH the technician on the phone confirmed that and said he could re-configure my router and make it work for $80. He tried to blame my router, a brand new D-Link dual band router, even though we could both look and see it was 2.4GH I since returned it and bought an Epson and had it up and going in 15 minutes.

Nice size HP laser jet
It was a bit hard to get it downloaded to my computer although I never had that problem before. I haven’t used it a lot yet but will come to finish writing about it.

Just what I was looking for
Affordable and compact, this printer fit my family's needs. The WiFi works great with mobile devices although printing multiple pages can be tricky. Paper feed is a bit sensitive.

HP tech support rep signs into customer computer and attempts theft!
The printer was OK, but the HP tech support guy I called for help broke into my computer and accessed my bank accounts and credit cards. He attempted to make charges and withdraw cash! Not what I expected from HP!

Good Luck
Got it to connect with my computer one time, now it won't at all. The "connect" option is greyed out and the troubleshooter says I have to make this my default computer--no way! This is an optional computer.

So glad I found this one.
So smooth, setting up and using this little gem. Unlike the OfficeJet 3830, which can't do the job without someone standing over it. This LaserJet communicates with every device and cranks out the pages without complaint.

Samsung printers are the worst, go with this one.
Great printer! Literally wanted one where the toner wouldn’t dry up so went laser. Had two Samsung, both had connectivity issues/paper feed broke and the toner cost as much as the printer. Not sure why I ever bought it again. This one is awesome. Easy setup and hasn’t had a connectivity issue yet (knock on wood). And the replacement toner from HP is only $70.

There are better options
Model is old, slow and uses up a lot of toner. There are newer models with higher reviews and better in every regard for less money however this was the only model available due to a HP supply shortage at the time of purchase. If anyone at HP reads this review please reach out to me so we can exchange for a different model. Thank you

Easy, Simple, Small.
The footprint space needed for this printer is small. The output trays of course will take more space. Generally the same as most printers in its class but definitely smaller. Also heavier than I would have imagined. The install was simple with the HP app on my iPhone. It was simple as this is a second printer. I would presume the install might be about average for first time setup. This printer fits my needs and is as expected from the product page on Amazon and reviews.

Excellent product, but roped into a subscription
I love the size and speed of this little printer. It was fairly easy to set up. I have no complaints about the printer itself. It's my first laser printer after years of inkjets drying out when I went out of town too often and I'm pretty excited about that. However, I didn't totally understand when I bought it that InstantInk is maybe required for this printer to work - I'm still not totally clear on that and I wish there was an option to not subscribe. It seems intentionally vague what happens if you end up not liking the subscription model. I think it will probably be worth it, especially with the new $0.99 option, but I don't like that you have to subscribe. And obviously they can change the price or the options at any point. I really wish I could have just bought this printer (because it's great) without having my credit card info saved on yet another subscription. Minus 2 stars because of InstantInk.

Good wireless printer for basic home needs.
I needed a wireless printer that my parents could print to from their iPhones and iPad. This fit the bill. I love the small compact size. It is a little loud but I can deal with that for what this is for.

Considering buying this printer, but I see there are a lot of bad reviews about the HP software, poor wireless connectivity and being forced to sign up for an intrusive HP+ account in order to use it. Have any of these issues been changed/addressed?
HP Team Grant's answer is incorrect. This printer WILL NOT PRINT WITHOUT AN HP+ ACCOUNT AND AN ALWAYS-ON INTERNET CONNECTION. To set up the account you must agree to always leave the printer connected to the internet and never use non-HP toner cartridges. If you don't agree to that, the printer will not operate. I bought this printer based on the official answer to this question and now have a useless device, as I refuse to agree to these terms.

Can the HP LaserJet M110we be set up to be used as a local printer and not through Wifi or our network? We only want to use this printer connected locally to a desktop computer.
HP Team Grant's answer is incomplete: this printer will not print, even over USB, without an always-on wifi connection to the internet and a HP account. It does have a USB port, but it only works as long as you're signed up and connected to the internet.

Can the wifi component of this printer be disabled? We need to use this locally without any connection to wifi or internet and it will not let us set up without connecting to the internet.
You must to connect to wifi for this printer to print at all. The initial setup requires internet (and requires signing up for an HP account), and if you ever disconnect it from the internet after setting it up, it will stop letting you print (even over USB) until it is reconnected. This is so HP can track your usage and try to upsell you toner subscriptions.

I bought this printer and got 6 months free instant ink. I wasn't interested in that service,so cancelled after 1 month, but still had one shipment sent to me....of the WRONG toner cartridge! Now I can't get anyone to replace it. What a rip off.
