Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from No HP Support When I purchased my laptop I also purchased a three year extended warranty. I was supposed to get an email from HP with details about the warranty and instructions on how to use it incase of a problem. I was also supposed to get a verification that that I have been automatically registered with the laptop. I have not received any information about registration or my warranty. I am unhappy with this lack of communication.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Phydias from Pavillion Aero 13.3 inch laptop The laptop is a low end bargin basement construct. For the price one should not expect to get a high end product. The case is light weight plastic, the screen is ok but not super terrific. The keyboard is decent. I have concerns as to the robustness of the screen hinges. I treat them with care. The laptop is suitable for web browsing and limited e-mail. I would not chose to write a doctoral dissertation on it. In the end it was good value for my limited requirements. You get what you pay for. The ordering process was terrible. I ordered online then checked with someone at HP. The laptop was assembled in China and there was a delay in fabrication and shipping. It was difficult to get information as to delivery status. This delay caused me problems and I wish I had bought something else at Bestbuy. It was an okay purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz V. from Excellent buy! The Aero is a great little laptop. The keyboard feels full size, and is much nicer to type on than other small laptops. Connection speed is great and not too much bloatware to get rid of. Very pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great HW, SW could be improved Pros: Hardware is excellent, very lightweight and portable, no stupid heavy glass/metal/touchscreen. Smaller and lighter than Lenovo Yoga series, the extra weight savings is much appreciated when on the move. Microsoft Hello and webcam adjustments (blur, subject tracking) are nice. Physical webcam block is appreciated for security. AMD processor is EXCELLENT, fast, and cool. Needs help: Microsoft Edge glitches occasionally requiring refreshing pages. System crashed once where OS was no longer detected and required complete factory reset. Seems more software related than hardware, not sure if due to AMD or not, hope it improves over time. Power cord from power adapter to wall outlet is a little short, older HP laptops had a longer length which was better. Would be better if laptop hinge could open 180 degrees. Home & End keys are mapped to alt F10 & F11, would be better mapped to left and right arrow keys so alt F10 & F11 could be additional custom hotkeys like alt F12. HP Software needs better integration - too many options seem like from different departments, not unified for best user experience. MyHP, HP Support Assistant, OMEN Gaming Hub, HP Smart, HP Documentation, HP Lighting Assistant, HP Privacy Settings, HP System Event Utility, etc. Just have one unified HP software, consumer users don't need to have so many choices, simplify the UX like Apple MacBooks. If SDD could be easily user accessible/upgradeable woud be better.

Is this laptop compatible with the HP G5 Docking station? I see we need a 10Gbps signaling speed. Is that enough to support two monitors through the dock? External I/O Ports: 2 USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™)

Asked by: GemStoneKat
