Rated 4 out of 5 by BobJ521 from Does the Job well Does the job as expected, no problems or surprises. However, I have two gripes: I don't care for the vertical orientation of the DVD drive. The way I am set up (and can't change) , the loading side faces away from me and is awkward to use. A horizontal drive would be easily accessed from either side. I'm not a fan of the white color used -- it really stands out (in a bad way) with the rest of my equipment, furniture, and surrounding area. The keyboard colors are hard to read with poor contrast between white keys and gray characters. Characters should be black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Problems with OneDrive I had trouble with Microsoft OneDrive. When I disabled OneDrive, it dumped all my pictures into the recycle bin. Fortunately, I had the pictures saved on an external drive, which I used to place the pictures in the Pictures Folder. No problem, but it is problematic that OneDrive software decided to delete things on its own.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from My HP Review Jan., 2, 2025 First of all, I'm not happy with white, but I knew that coming in but the black choices did not have features I wanted, and had some that I did NOT want. The keyboard and tower will look awful as tthey darken from dust, dirt and oils from my hands. The USB slots where the flash drives go are very tight and one might be thinking that he could damage the inside or the flash itself, and obviously I'm not excited that they are verticle. The tower, or cabinet if you will, has no rubber feet and is so lightweight that trying to push the flash drive in, just makes the computer slide towards the back of the desk You actually need to use two hands, one containing the flash, and the other to pull the tower back to you so it doesnt get away. Speaking of verticle, also the DVD drive is also verticle, another strike against this computer. I believe the DVD drive is made very cheaply, almost tinny. NO motor as in previous PCs that push the tray out to you.. I guess having user manuels are a thing of the past. Its nice that manuels are online, but just try switching full screens from manual to a project you are currently working on. Much having a booklet opened to the page. I'm looking into the future, will power cords, a mouse and a keyboard still be included in the box? I'm not looking for games to play, I dont do that, but it would be nice buying a new product to have at least "Word" installed so one can carry on with life. We buy a program for one computer and then we buy another computer and need to repurchase the programs we use over and over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Denns1950 from Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt So far everything going pretty well. Once in a while when I send hibernation mode and I try to wake it up I have to hit the power button instead of just move the mouse or hit the enter key on the keyboard. Definitely an upgrade from my Windows 10. Couple features I do miss though

Rated 3 out of 5 by Old Soldier in Tennessee from HP not what it use to be The documentation for the new computer is not the same as what HP provided in the past. Even the online documents do not provide a detail motherboard document to name one item lacking. The setup and transfer from an old computer went okay. There is a problem with the hibernate mode in windows 11 and HP does not allow a complete access to the BIOS setup to see if the power is available to USB devices during the hibernate mode. Since I cannot get out of the hibernate mode with my USB keyboard or USB mouse, I have to turnoff the pc and then perform a re-start. HP is not the same as it was when I purchased desktops in the past.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Corporate Policies need revised to allow staff to serve the public Needed more memory and HP was not able to help me so I had to return it. The sales team was wonderful however corporate would not allow them to see my HP account. I read what I thought was my set-up but I was wrong. Therefore once I discovered I already had the memory I just bought I returned the unit. The return process was excellent could not have been easier. My frustration is with internal policies that do not allow HP to handle ne as a consumer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jameslatour1 from Great Pavilion upgrade. Always shop at HP not big box stores. Replaced our i5 with this i7, so much difference. Fast response quicker page loads, less page errors. Last Pavilion we bought was from a big box store and we found out it was a brick with outdated hardware and overwritten upgrades. Will never get computers from retail again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by L. Hoyt from Great HP Computer, Great Value Purchased because of inability to upgrade old computer to Windows 11. The old computer was an HP that performed flawlessly. I am enjoying the new HP and it is performing great. It has 2 drives, a small ssd and a large hdd used for data including large photo and music files. Set up was a breeze and fine structuring for work and home files was easily completed in just a bit over an hour, including a new printer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by S.L.R. from Still waiting I ordered a computer on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from HP. An hour later, a friend informed me he was sending me a computer, so I called HP and cancelled my order. The computer I had ordered and cancelled arrived on Sunday, November 24, 2024. I called HP and explained the situation and was told they would arrange for a return ticket and a pickup from FedEx. FedEx picked up the computer on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. As of today, 18 business days have passed since FedEx picked up the computer and I'm still waiting for my refund. I'm disabled and old and the money I initially paid for a computer that I cancelled, is presenting as a problem. I have spoken with CSRs at HP and they assure me I will receive my refund...the question is "when". According to your guidelines, I should be talking here about the performance of the computer. I never even removed it from the box... More than anything, I'm attempting to get some sort of response from HP regarding the status of my refund. This is very frustrating.

I highly recommend this unit for your computer needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolfy from HP is the best! I've had HP Desktops for years and would not buy any other brand! I like the new white color, fairly easy set up. One recommendation I do have is for HP to include software that makes it easier to transfer data from old desktop to my new one.

I've purchased many HP computers over the years, and this was the first time I didn't even need to customize in order to get exactly what I needed. Setup was straightforward except for the usual invasive Microsoft irritations. Once those were minimized, it has worked relatively well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Di G. from HP Pavilion Desktop PC - Awesome I have always been partial to HP Products, every printer I have had over the past 40 years has been an HP. Recently I purchased an HP PC and it is absolutley awesome. Lots of memory, speed and ease of use. It is an HP Pavilion Desktop with Windows 11 and much more power than I ever had before. I am so happy with this new PC, it is so refreshing not to have to wait for it to power up. It is instantly ready and my old one could not begin to compare with it. Runs smoothly, fast and quiet. I would highly recommend this or any HP PC, Printer or Laptop. I consider HP products to be in the area of the best made products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seonag from Easy Set-Up Set-up was so easy. Windows 11 walked me through the process and since most of my documents were in the "cloud," they downloaded with ease. Even my web favorites, etc. moved over with no problem. I still had to download 3 programs I use, but that was quick and easy. The Desktop opens quickly and is fast. I've used HP Desktop Assistant for years and it helps to keep my computer up-to-date and running smoothly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Country Lady from Immediate Response--FAST I wasn't able to start up my new HP right after it was delivered because of COVID--second time. I am still learning about all of the fantastic features and BOY, is it fast!! I had a HP Pavilion (8 years old) and I just thought that the internet was slow, Wi-Fi was slow but NOT my computer. Then, I received an email that my computer would not run on the Windows 10 after Oct. 2025. I decided to shop and found the one that works for me (I didn't want game features). My only problem right now is that the trial software is interfering with my paid subscriptions and I can't find out how to fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by t2c1 from I like everything about this PC! I like that it has so many USB ports (5 of them on the front) and a built-in DVD drive, which I prefer over an external. I've usually had dark computer cases and wasn't sure how I would like the white, but it is a matte white, actually appearing like a very light gray. Looks very nice and fits in with my decor. It's operating fine so far. I haven't tried games of speed yet, but it's perfect for my everyday needs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Keeps freezing up, requiring hard restart Keyboard and mouse often stop working completely, sometimes with cursor visible and immobile and sometimes gone entirely. Control-Alt-Delete does nothing, so only thing left is a hard restart. Also annoying that the keyboard has no 'print screen' key, even though there is space on it for five more keys. The supposed workaround for no prt sc key (Fn+Windows+spacebar) doesn't work either. Stuck with HP desktop due to success with previous previous ones, but now regretting the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by "Old school" computer use from Exactly what I needed I don't really keep things in the Cloud, so having a massive HDD was important for me. It also has a DVD drive, so I could load my programs onto the computer. Only a couple of programs that I use are downloads from the various sites. I didn't want a wireless mouse and keyboard, and this doesn't have that. And the keyboard is nice and responsive. It was simple to do the start up, and Windows 11 boots up in a matter of seconds. The computer is giving me the rated speed from my ISP, as my previous HP computer did not have the board to handle the speed.

If i bought this tower would your company install windows 11 if i asked for it instead of windows 10 64

Asked by: Kaylasmomma_1958
I had the same experience. PC came with Windows 10 Home Edition (64-bit). During the setup the PC upgraded to Windows 11. However, I wanted a clean install. I've had some issues with the Realtek PCIe adapter and loss of internet requiring a restart. After everything is done in setup, the BIOS and Adapter had updates that I only found on https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-tp01-2000i/2100367767/model/2100405249 and had to search specifically for Windows 11 drivers here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-tp01-2000i/2100367767/model/2100405249. Overall, it's a small footprint desktop with satisfactory performance.
