Good products
I wanted to buy an HP. I have owned Different HP products and have never had any problems. I decided to go with HP directly to get the best product and service that I could get. This laptop doesn’t disappoint. I waited to to be sure of the product before I wrote the review. You can’t go wrong buying directly from the manufacturer. I’m very happy.

HP Pavilion Laptop is really good
This is a very good laptop for the money. The processing speed is excellent and the screen quality is good. Surfing the internet is a breeze.

Poor microphone for video conferencing
Set up was amazingly fast and easy. Working speed is very fast within and between programs. Everything is working well except the microphone. I have had constant issues with microphone working, staying working, picking up first few words said. Using trouble shooting tools not helping. Unable to connect to support. The main reason I upgraded to this computer was because of extensive video conferencing. This issue with the microphone has been from the very start and makes this laptop unusable for my needs.

Awesome unit / worth the purchase
I adore my laptop. It is as advertised, with the exception that I did not take in account how the screen size differs from my work HP laptop of size of 15". This laptop screen size is awesome, not just because it is bigger but where the difference is in size is the screen height is taller. This allows for the whole shell of the laptop size to fit perfectly in a standard laptop bag. It doe snot feel bulky in your space. When on your lap go wider to accommodate the screen size is better to have the height. Besides the screen size, the functions of the keyboard is quiet. Lighting of the keys is perfect and my favorite is the key pads are a bit larger yet fits perfectly in the dimension of the laptop. The screen brightness is great. I love it all and am now considering a second laptop for my husband. So I can have this to myself. Oops forgot I ordered the blue case color....I like that too.

Good for Now
Overall its a nice laptop but does have its issues. I have had three occasions in the first 30 days where I was either unable to get into the system, connect to the internet or having issues with the having enough memory to keep the monitors from going black.
All three times I was able to get it back up and working by either rolling back updates and reapplying or troubleshooting the heck out of it. You shouldn't have to do this on a brand new laptop but I have found this SOP on all my HP's.

A little disappointed
The look of the laptop is nice, but it frequently will not come back on once it has been put in sleep mode. My NUM Lock turns itself off and therefore my code to log back into my laptop will not work. If I put the laptop to sleep, it shuts it down completely instead of coming back on quickly.

The Best of The Best
This is by far the best laptop I've had. It's fast, set up was easy and I like that the keyboard lights up.

Affordable, Win11 compatible, and well designed
I recently purchased the HP Pavilion Laptop 16 as an upgrade from my Pavilion 15 laptop which was incompatible with Windows 11. I like almost everything about it, including the Windows 11 OS, larger screen, keyboard with adjustable backlight that illuminates with touch, faster processing speed, and longer battery life. You can also turn off Wifi and surf the internet on Airplane mode. As one other reviewer mentioned, it would have been nice to have a light on the Num Lock key, as toggling otherwise gets confusing. And (not HP's fault) I thought I was buying a touchscreen PC like my last one, but this particular model does not have a touchscreen. It was so easy on the older PC to add foreign language accent marks using the touchscreen, but now I have to use the ALT key and look up international letter codes to make those work. The price of this fast, sleek laptop was reduced by $360, making an upgrade very affordable. I don't think you can go wrong with a HP laptop - but read all the specs carefully so that you're buying everything you want and need.

Love This Computer
I use this computer for just about everything and have not found any problems with it. I am able to do scheduling, finances, programs for my professional needs and handle just about anything I need on it. It is quick, lightweight and holds a charge for a good long time. I am very happy with this computer.

Great!
I was suprised how powerful it performed! It handles multitasking like a champ. The graphics for gaming are great. There is a specific keyboard button that opens Bingchat directly so that is nice. I will say, if you buy this computer, get 16GB of ram. When my 8 GB of ram is 90% used, the GPU and CPU are at 10-12%used so seems kinda misbalanced. Besides that, great product!

Pavilion Laptop 16-ag0087nr
I researched what I needed, what I would be willing to spend, and what each option had or did not have for my new computer. I upgraded to windows 11, got a MUCH faster processor, and a backlit keyboard. I love the speed and the keyboard. The pc is a great value for the price and met all my needs. Biggest bonus I did not know I was getting is the ability to plug in a wireless mouse and automatically disable the touchpad(which I rarely use). Unplug the mouse and the touchpad is automatically enabled. very cool. The biggest negative for me is the NUM LOCK key does not have a light to indicate on or off(like the CAPS LOCK key). Very annoying if you are trying to figure out on or off for the numeric keypad which I use all the time and can accidently turn off.
