First and last HP
I cant find an keyboard covers of shell covers for this laptop. Its like this model is outdated. This laptop is also very loud. Theres a loud whirring sound when the fan kicks on. I requested a refund and instead i was sent tech support contact information.

Noisy fan renders PC unusable
The laptop's fan has a high pitch whine and is quite annoying. Perhaps I have better hearing than some people, but this PC cannot be used. I returned it after a long conversation with technical support. Note that the computer was on a laptop stand with good ventilation and the ambient temperature was about 72F. The CPU load was normal.
There were a number of other complaints about the fan on-line. HP product management needs to pay attention. If an obvious problem like fan noise can cause users to return a PC, what other issues are hidden in this model or other HP models?

My opinion of HP product overall is as always high all HP products are dependable and well built all of my Laptops and printers have been HP products since 2009 I am quit satisfied with my new Laptop and HP service and Maintenace and update services.

Underwhelming
It's a couple days since getting this PC and it's been underwhelming. I must say I got carried away by the few features I could customise like processor and storage. However, I missed a few details. One, it's not a touchscreen display which I thought I was buying. More importantly, the battery lasts like 4hrs of use.

New laptop.
So far, I like it. It seems smaller, though I'm sure the screen size is the same as my last one. It looks more sleek. I liked the color of my last one better. Similar, but sligtly to the bronze tone while this one is silver. I like the new logo. The keyboard feels better to my fingers. I like that.
The transition of data has been relatively smooth, but I'm having trouble with getting this laptop to recognize my Office Jet Pro 9015e printer, not to mention I can't figure out how to get my subcription to Grammarly switched over. This being Thanksgiving week, I'm sure doesn't help, since I can't call anybody.
