Good laptop case, minor issues
I like this case's look, but it is just barely too tight new for my HP-15-1027 and no flap in case of rain on top. The zipped pocket mirrors other cases I've had, but with the laptop in it, it's kind of tight. No, not a bad case, but could use a bit more room and still hold the laptop snugly and be able to put more items in the pocket without pressing (intervening fabric) against the computer. I plan to use it and, like shoes, let it stretch out with use.

Stylish RENEW 14 Navy Slim Brief
Stylish, well made and a great price on this Slim Brief for the HP x2 11 chromebook. Plenty of room for the brick too. I bought this for my wife and she described it as "very stylish". Note: the main compartment doesn't have the typical zipper clousure but the handles fold over and stay closed magnetically. Seems sturdy and secure with strong magnets. I am sure my wife will give the slim brief plenty of real world testing...

When i received my purchase, i was ashamed that HP would sell such a piece of crap. It was poorly made a d useless for what i wanted it for. My computer would not fit into the briefcase. It looks more like a purse than a briefcase. I ended up giving it to my sister who also thought it was pocketbook, she could use for church corespondence.

The quality could be better, I don't feel that the plastic lining will hold up to the constant use of the case, with the laptop sliding in and out. Also the extra pouch does not seem large enough for the laptop power cord and brick. It will dig into the laptop over time.

It’s a solid case with, yes, magnets. A fair warning though, it is a pretty tight fit with the spectre x360 15-eb100 that I got the case for. All in all though, it’s a very nice waterproof case with ever so satisfying magnets.

This case uses a magnet to stay closed; It doesn't work. I dropped my computer out of the case and only quick move of my foot kept it from hitting the pavement. The handle also flexes letting the top of the case bunch open. Do not purchase this case.

Not big enough, I don’t like the magnet
Cosmetically, it’s really nice but it’s not as spacious as I had imagined it. With my laptop inside, the bag won’t close and leaves no room for the wireless mouse and other items. So utility wise, it doesn’t do what I had intended it for.
I’m also paranoid of the magnetic closing mechanism, if I had known it was used I wouldn’t have purchased it. I heard that magnets ruin computer interiors. Whether that is a myth or not, it spooks me out to leave my business and music production laptop up against a magnet.
