Keyboard Size Reduced
The new ZBook has the valuable HP name and reputation, However, the keyboard is NOT the full keyboard that my older computer has; there is no number-key pad. There is no dedicated Home key or End key although those functions are available with Shift+. In my opinion, there could be more USB jacks, too. Operating time on battery power seems modest at best. I am satisfied with my new computer, and while I am not pleased with the keyboard layout, I'm sure I will soon learn to use it.

Smaller Size not better for Video Production
I am a very experienced video editor with more than 35 years on the job. This computer has only the bare minimum necessary to easily produce video programs. First it lacks multiple USB ports. Secondly, it has a smaller screen to work with compared to previous ZBook models. Thirdly, it lacks an SDXC input to directly transfer data from most professional still and video cameras. Forth, it really requires an HP accessory such as the HP Thunderbolt to provide for more than one monitor and additional USB and other useful ports. This accessory set you back hundreds of dollars more in addition to the computer itself. The only plus side of purchasing this computer at pressent is the price and it has enough RAM and Memory to run most serious video production programs. I have 2 earlier 17" ZBooks that run on Windows 10, which have larger screens, more ports and space for more than one internal drive. I bought this as an emergency interum computer to make sure I could run future video editing programs when folks moved to Windows 11 and the system was on sale. What was HP thinking?.. Next time..talk to some real video editors before creating new Zbooks. HP should dump the product manager for Zbooks used for video production.

Smaller and lighter are nice, but I need an office in a laptop.
First time I've ever been disappointed in a HP product. Oh it works fine, considering the MS OS. But no numeric keypad is a real disappointment. 16" screen is much smaller than 17" screen and I can't read the small characters on my new laptop. No USB A port to read the security passwords on my thumb drive is annoying (yes I found adapters for the USB C ports). No ethernet port is just a stupid decision. I have an adapter for that too, but USB C isn't near as fast as ethernet. Imagine loading 2 terabytes onto my new laptop over wireless until the adapter arrived, then loading the remaining 98% using the ethernet-to-USB C adapter. It took a week and a half. And no CD/DVD drive. HP should have given this computer a different name. It's not in the same class as a Z Book. Or HP could have warned me of the changes, and admit that they don't have a full-office laptop anymore. Instead, HP provided only a short list instead of a full list of specifications for this laptop. Apple products are looking good to me this month, after 41 years on PCs.

Great lightweight workstation system
The zbook studio G10 is a great system. It's light weight, well built, and the cooling system is very good. Of all the computers I have, this is the only one that doesn't heat up too much when I run my daily ML based codes. This system's build quality is significantly better than for typical consumer based laptops. The notebook is lightweight for the size (16 inch) and the battery life is pretty good (probably at least 5 hrs with my mixed use). I did omit the nvidia card and likely with a dedicated GPU the battery life would be worse. For my uses (I need something to run computations and take along outside), it's a really great system. The 4k dreamcolor display is very good for indoor use and outdoor use in the shade. It's easy on the eyes. For bright outdoor conditions, it's not bright enough, you need something around 1000 nits. I do wish this one went up a bit to 600 nit range. Also, it's not as easy to open up as the heavier zbooks, so you may wish to order more RAM, etc. at the start. It is however, upgradeable and the battery replaceable, which is another plus over consumer systems.

Pretty nice editing laptop.
I have had it for about a week so far. It seems pretty awesome. No issues. I use it for editing in Adobe. I can't help but feel like it's running slow with certain things I do but I can't tell if it's the laptop or Adobe Audition itself. I'm leaning towards Audition because everything else I do works fine.

Needs More Assistance
This comes with no setup instructions and no summary sheet of what’s inside the computer. The order email didn’t have it either. With only one USB a port it is impossible to use a mouse and a hard drive at the same time. Perhaps offer for sale accessories that help when the computer is purchased. I am unable to load much of my software as I wait for a dock and/or converters for all the usb-c ports. So in summary I have had this for 2 weeks and don’t know if what I ordered is what I received and I can’t complete the setup.

Great computer
I've had this computer for about 2 weeks and am very happy with it. Predominately used for Adobe CC (Premier Pro and AE) and the rendering speed is amazing!

Disappointed
Seems like the laptop is high quality. The problem is support is horrible. I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get the warranty to report as 3 year which was the purchased configuration but is reporting as only 1 year. Most of the online submittal process do not work. Chat is better if it does not crash and email support is lacking, cases are closed with no resolution. About ready to return the product.
