They really are great for having the laptop stay in one place sturdy, having the mouse right next to it and nothing really has the chance to fall or get wacked off the table! This can totally be used on any tabletop, even an even leveled floor. It’s very versitale. Seems like it wouldn’t get dirty easily, I wipe it with an alcohol prep pad to keep fingerprints and any dust off.

I also really like that the bottom has rubberish padding to keep it from sliding all around on my desk. The material it's made from is super durable too.
