Wish it had worked out
Purchased to install on a computer purchased thru HSN . They advertised it is set in safe mode and unfortunately I haven't been able to install the McAfee LiveSafe. I intend to return it because trying to get assistance through HP to get a workaround is next to impossible.

I'm disappointed because the it cannot be downloaded. I found out there's an s code which is a security that is built in. No where in the booklet the added was mentioned. The sales rep in the walmart had no knowledge of the product. So I'm learning the laptop on my own. I spent 26.99 for a product I cannot use. It hurts.

Buy virus protection direct, not through HP.
The email sent from HP had a download link that was useless. So I spent a useless telephone hour with HP reps and then was told to phone McAfee to get my problem solved. Bad experience. Outcome: I will NOT purchase virus protection through HP!

Good but kept dropping Xfinity Ethernet
Good package but the internet protection kept dropping my Xfinity Ethernet connection whether I wa using Express VPN or not. Unfortunately, I uninstalled the package due to that constant problem and went with Gridinsoft anti-malware and Malware Bytes Premium.

I had a lot of frustration with it. I requested the 1 month trial, and then purchased a 1 year subscription. the 1 month trial ended. I kept getting messages to purchase the year subscription (which had been charged on my credit card). I could not get it recognized so I discontinued it.

Very good customer service
I bought my hp envy 17.3in laptop from best buy about 3 months ago. The 1080p 17in display is great, the audio volume is great. The 12 gig 11th gen I7 processor is extremely fast and updates very fast. As a laptop, I am very satisfied with its design, aluminum case and features. I like it.

I got the McAfee protector Livesafe with my new HP Laptop! On the Mfg.'s site the price for a year was $34 for a years licese, and you get a 5 Device License Serial Numbers in addadion! What's the difference here for the same protector?
